So what are you thinking now? New thread!

I was wondering the same thing earlier, Dragonfly. I also thought something must've been wrong with my computer, or that a new thread was created and I was being left in the dark.

We've been hanging out in the boy scout thread. It really should have a flashing light, besides the one on my blood pressure meter

Over my internet quota for the day....night all

My toothache is KILLING me. Two vicodin has done NOTHING at all to ease the pain. I have tried almost every home remedy on the net and nothing. The **** dentist said it should start feeling better in 2-3 days when the antibiotics kick in.

Kaeg take ibuprofen. You can have up to 1000mg every 4 hours for as long as you have pain.

Vicodin doesn't work for me at all. I have had lots of dental work, only motrin does it for me.

On another subject, can making bread be what is aggravating this gross rash on my hands? Does handling gluten items cause flares?

I know folks who've ended up in the ED to get pain relief.

Is it an abscess? Might need to be drained to get relief until the antibiotics work.

Hope you feel better ASAP.

That sucks! Do you think alternating tylenol/motrin every 4 hours might help more than the vicoden? I know for me it does but PSA .....Don't take all 3 at the same time because that can mess up your liver.

A bottle of ibuprofen along with a bottle of tequila will do the trick.

Over three days, not all at once!

However, another PSA, really, really, really (and I mean really) hard on your liver.

Sorry Kathy I don't know but my educated guess would be yes!

Dragonfly OMG I nearly fell off the couch laughing!!!!!!!!! But I'm glad in all seriousness that you have forward progress!

Handling gluten is the devil! I made dd lunch on Sunday and did not wash my hands immediately and touched my cheek. It looks like I have a half dollar sized wart or something on my face.

I went to the ED about 10 years ago for tooth pain. The doctor was a **** who told me the ED does NOT deal with teeth. I pretty much told him I was ready to shoot myself, so he took a large needle and injected lidocane into my gum. Hurt like hell but I had 4 hours of relief.

I took 800 mg of whatever they give you- advil or whatever. We are a non drinking household but I just got a glass of whiskey from my neighbor. I am seriously considering drinking it or at least rubbing it on my gums.

Well that would explain a lot. It has been getting progressively worse since Sept., which is when I started making all our bread.

Truthfully, breathing it in can make all symptoms worse. Can you wear gloves while you are making it? It really is not good for you. Celiac is the reason my teeth suck. I absorb very few vitamins and it stinks.

Maybe some nighttime cold medicine, Kaeg? Knock yourself out! Tooth pain is horrible. Or borrow a bottle of wine from your neighbor...grapes should be gluten free. :p

Kathy, time for a bread machine! Good thrift store find, seem to be in the $8 range.

OMG, which hospital?

Do you remember his name?

He needs to get the hell out of emergency medicine.

winter storm warning here until late tonight. I was supposed to work out of town today but do not want to do the commute in this weather (4-9 inches of snow on top of ice we got yesterday and heavy winds). I'm declaring this a snow day and spending the day at home instead.
