I just thought "pitbull" which made me think of Trayvon Martin. :pout:


I'm hiding from my children. They are all bickering. There is a constant undertone of trying to establish their place here...all of them. DD8 thinks she is running the show. I can't believe DD14 hasn't decked her. DD8 just said, "Well it is MY DAY AGAIN, because it is my family party!" and DD18 said, "Well it's MY party, too" and DD14 said, "Yeah, well at 8:00pm, when you go to bed, order will be restored in my house & it will go back to being all about ME." The boy is probably standing there, watching all of this, ****ting in his pants. They are all laughing, but I think the sentiment is clear.

Can I just say I freaking love my next door neighbor right now? He saw us getting out of the car earlier, ds8 was whining, crying, and talking back to me. He knows my dh has been working crazy amounts of overtime lately. My neighbor told me if he continues to send ds to his house for awhile. I took him up on his offer. Not sure exactly what he said to him, I know it involved scrubbing toilets at both my house and his if his attitude didn't change. Ds came home, apologized to me and his sisters, helped me get dinner on the table, and has done a complete 180 attitude wise. He told me to send him back over any time and reminded my ds that he's a SAHD, and he's ALWAYS home!

RIH and for a short time after I did remember his name. I actually talked about this at work today and 2 others had the SAME experience at that hospital. We all have good insurance (you know sometimes it makes a difference) but each one of us was treated like ****.
 
Well, Schnucks is a store.


My first thought, Magnus is one of the winter storm names...and it was messing with her ability to Schnuck. (shop at Schnucks)

Google turned up no such storm.

Magnus could be a grandson or a dog (either of which could potentially mess up one's ability to Scnuck if the circumstances were correct.

Otherwise, I have no idea.

One of my old computers must still have the list of RIH ED attendings from back then.

When I find it, I'll PM it. I'd love to know which jackasses were involved & find out if they are still at Lifespan or another area ED. The guy that ran the RIH ED back then has since been bounced and I know that kind of behavior has never been tolerated at other area EDs.
