Well you seemed coherent in our FB convo. :giggles:

Feel better! :flowers:
Oh heck yeah!!! I am 2000 more coherent than I was for the previous 24 hours. I was telling Dh and Dd about a tornado that we had and this big **** snake that came out of it and was strangling the parents of someone we know and that the snake erased all by cell phone pics. The only think I took was 2 Tylenol. I think my fever must have been wicked from 1:30 yesterday until 2 pm today.

We finished our basement about 4 years ago and put an office down there, walls/floors/ceiling were all finished at that time but never put in desks, cabinets, etc...until NOW. Finally picked up the cabinets and countertop for my craft area. Desks, file cabinets, bookcase will be arriving this week sometime. Can't wait to put it all together, of course next weekend is already packed full of commitments :(

offsite

This daylight savings thing is throwing me for a bit of a loop--it's almost 8 and no dinner on the table. Oh well, I'm not cooking, so it's a-ok with me.

If you mean what I think you mean, it was a picture. If you mean that they are sort of well, vapid, well I guess guilty as charged...

I was serious - there's nothing showing (for me at least) in the post above your "no dinner" post. I even tried to quote it to see what would come up and nothing there either.

Just an empty post.

What do you think about people wearing too much perfume? There is some scent out there that must be popular for some reason because I keep smelling it. When the person walks by, I actually get nauseous! (No, I'm not pregnant) It is so "heavy" and "strong" and not pleasant to me at all.

I wish I had the nerve next time to ask the person what it is called. I guess that wouldn't help but I am wondering what it is.

I once went out with someone who was allergic to Cool Water by Davidoff--we were together for a couple of years and when we broke up it was not realistic for either of us to move out for 3 months so I moved into the guest room and we kept living together. The first thing I did was buy a bottle of Cool Water--one of the most passive aggressive (and satisfying) things I've ever done. Not helpful, I know, but made me think...

I think they are inconsiderate, lacking in self-esteem, extremely insecure, and quite rude.

Many folks are allergic to scents & perfumes, and it can set off asthma attacks.

Perfume should be for intimates only, if anyone can smell it more than an inch or two away, you are wearing too much.

For those who think they need to dowse themselves in perfume to cover up bad body odor, go take a shower or bath instead.

I agree, I think by the time I smell your perfume it should be that moment when I am ALMOST inappropriately close. I'm not saying someone wouldn't smell it at work but it would be like when they leaned over your shoulder to see your monitor not when they pass you in the hallway.

I agree! So many people wear way too much and not everyone enjoys the smell. There was this girl at my gym that wore tons of perfume to work out. It was so bad that the entire place reeked. I couldn't even breathe! Her trainer said that he had to take a shower after she left because he smelled too!

I think that perfume is personal. Like sexy panties....no one else needs to know they are there but the person you share it with.

any prefume I wear I put on before my clothes (never on top)....it may be smelled when hugging me...but not out there for everyone.

Trying to decide if I should take a tylenol w/ codeine or a vicodin [hydrocodone w/ tylenol]. Had to go see urgent care today to get a scrip for levaquin for a wicked sinus infection that flared up last night. The pain is horrible, can't wait for the antibiotic to kick in & knock this down.

In the meantime, which pain killer to take? :9: Decisions...

I generally wear cologne but I wear it in such a way that you would have to be really close to me to smell it--I remember the other day I was showing something to a coworker and she leaned in real close to see what I was doing and her eyes kind of widened and she said "oh, you smell nice". And it was weird and sort of fun, because it really did feel kind of "naughty"--that's what I think perfume/cologne should do for you.
