KG while Pregnant with my first ( 13 days late..) everyday I would go to work and someone would say oh you haven't had that baby yet?? I was like DUH I am here and my belly is still out to there--duh correct I have not had that baby yet!!
Like there is some sort of magic launch code I was supposed to enter into a hidden keypad last week to activate labor. Or like I forgot to mail in the form to get my admission ticket for labor to happen :dunce:
I was telling my doc about this, and he said most of his patients ask to be induced by now. So I guess peeps aren't used to waiting anymore. I just want what's in the best interest of the baby, not what is convenient/comfortable for me. Whether that is waiting until labor happens at 42+ weeks or being induced for medical reasons, I will do just that.
I'm not complaining about being pregnant. I could, but I'm not gonna, because I chose this and it's only temporary. I
am complaining about certain people annoying me with their constant texts/emails/calls/remarks. People who didn't contact/text me nearly this often a year ago. Oh and lest anyone feel sorry for them: I warned them not to overdo it. I told them anxiety can delay labor, and told them not to push it. I told them to pretend my due date is 2 weeks away. They got multiple warnings. I'm done now.
If you're looking for things to say to a 10 months pregnant woman, try these:
"You look great!" (a bald-faced lie, but better than "OMG

you have turned into a massive blimp")
"Good to see you."
"Let me know if you need anything."
"Sleep now, because you won't be getting much sleep for a long time!"
