Hey, at least a year from now he'll be more useful because he'll be able to drive. DD19 is grocery shopping for me right now. :) Although I know when the kids are little grocery shopping alone is a real treat/break.

Dear DH, please get off your pity pot and realize that ONLY YOU can make things happen...I've tried to tell you this numerous amounts of time but you won't listen...I'm sorry you are depressed. I keep telling you to tell the dr. that you are but you won't admit it. The problem is you are married and you REALLY can't afford to drag your family down with you! Please realize this before it's too late. Signed, Your loving and frustrated wife.

You all are cracking me up with the condom stuffs.

Shhhh...we always called them "rain coats" and I'm pretending I didn't read any of it.....lalalalalalala

signed, blissfully ignorant

It's early in the day, spent 2 1/2 hours and prepared 7 crockpot meals to freeze so I don't get the calls at work, "hey, honey, whats for dinner".

Now to tackle those darn Christmas trees....ugh. I hope I can git 'er done and hit Carsons before the day is gone.

I have. (Tina, stop reading :pms:)

We have had a number of very long and serious talks with all of the boys, one in particular. And with his girl. Have no desire to be a grandma before any of them graduate HS.

Never nice to find surprise DNA evidence.

Oh dear. :tmi1:

Lalalalalalala I can't hear you.

I have been busy in the kitchen all day getting ready for a party ... we are having 9 families (about 35 people) over tomorrow and I am baking and getting some other food stuff ready.

I get a call from Tiger Direct asking me to call back and confirm an order. WTF? I know I didn't order anything from them. I text DH and he tells me that he didn't order anything either.

I call them back and they need me to confirm some info for a 200.00 baby monitor that I ordered this week. WTF??? What do I need a baby monitor for? My babies are 8 and 6. The guy cancels my order but now I get to call Discover Card and report my card as stolen. This should be fun. This just happened to DH a few months ago. Grrrr ... dishonest people suck.

Well, I guess the call to Discover was relatively painless. I was on the phone for maybe 12 minutes which wasn't terrible.

I had to go over which transactions were/weren't mine and verify some other info. They cancelled my card. Then they offered to Fed Ex me my new card since I charge about 2K a month on there and I guess Discover didn't want me to charge on my AMEX for too long so I'll have their card back in my hot little hands in no time at all. LOL.

And again I just want to say that dishonest people REALLY SUCK.

Whoever out there that thinks they are getting a brand new baby monitor on someone else's dime, well, you thought wrong!

For $200 that monitor better put the blanket back on the baby and find the pacifier when it falls out. I assume it was one of those fancy video ones with night vision.

They FedEx us new cards when we had a problem, too. They were all "how are you going to get through the weekend? Can we give you a balance check into your checking?"

 We also use the Discover like a debit card. Charge everything, pay it off a couple times a week.

Too funny ... they probably figured since they weren't paying for it, they'd buy the nicest one out there.

I have no idea which one it was. The guy at Tiger Direct didn't feel like "sharing" with me once I told him the order was fraudulent. I wish I knew who did order because I'd love to give them a call and "mess" with them. At the very least, I'd want to call and say "Neh, neh, you're not getting your monitor now!"

Now that I sit down and think about it, I half wonder if a store/restaurant/wherever that DH and I frequent might not have an issue with an employee with a skimmer device because this same situation happened to DH not that long ago.

We each have our own credit cards so he uses his and I use mine. Seems odd that we would both have a fraud issue with our Discover cards in a relatively short time frame.

Hugs Valarie... I couldn't begin to imagine how to handle that yet. Thank the Lord I have asked my 11 yr old DS to stop aging and he had obliged. Whew.... dodged that bullet.:phew:

That's so funny - dh calls the crockpot bags... Crockpot condoms. And then expects me to be excited about what is in this said condom.

Very worried about my niece. She went down to spend her college spring break as part of a medical brigade working in the boonies in Panama. She became quite ill & flew back a few days early. Went right from the airport to the emergency room at Georgetown. Bro & SIL are either flying or driving down there despite her protests that they aren't needed.

So many nasty bugs, viruses, & other contagions down there...

My brother does volunteer work with Haitian orphans several times a year & I am always worried he's going to catch something in Haiti. Hope your niece is ok!

This is the organization he's with: http://belikebrit.org/ Britney was his cousin, she was killed in the earthquake there a few years ago. He and her parents have really seen her dreams come true building this orphanage. :)
