Wtf!! We are still here. I feel like we cross One bridge and then fall right off again. She has been having skipped beats when her hr goes below 100 which is basically only when she is sleeping. They have stopped all her meds and are just monitoring now. She had a 2.6 pause and a 3.5 second pause which is not good. Hoping it's either the meds, or her heart still healing. She has been such a trooper and hasn't complained more than a handful of times. Although this morning she woke up with puppy dog eyes asking for a rabbit. "please mommy, I have had so many blood tests and sticker tests (EKG) and I have been so good!" lol. Yesterday they came in and were able to do an EKG while she was sleeping. I told them to leave the stickers on and I would take them off when she wakes up. So she woke up and as I'm looking at her chest she had extra wire leads that the night nurse had put on while we were sleeping. So I say "where the hell did all these wires come from?" and she says "where the hell did all these stickers come from?" Hahahaha.

Sorry your dh is sick, barb. Has he been screened for lung cancer?

I am amazed how much dd has grown in the past two weeks. Last night I was telling dh she will be asking for the car keys before we know it.

Also, I got on the scale this morning for the first time since we got home from the hospital. I don't normally share numbers, but I was thrilled with what I saw. Lots of work still to go, but less than I expected. Woot!

Ann your daughter remains in my prayers. The photo you posted of her on fb with the magician was priceless!

They look to be less than a week old.

You are making me miss my ducks, growing up on a pond they were some of our childhood pets. We raised many from day old, they even knew their names. I still can't eat duck, would be like eating a cat.

:snort:

So what is she naming her new bunny? I wouldn't be able to say No.

Poor kid & poor mommy! This is turning out to be quite an ordeal. How is your DS holding up with you & DD away from home for so long?

:huggy:

This attic is going to be the death of me. DH can hardly move, he is so sore. The attic floor is what used to be the oldgarage ceiling, so it is pitched oddly. I am FINISHING the subfloor TODAY, come hell or high water. I am obsessing over it being perfectly level...after today's efforts it *should* be within 1/8" and that is going to have to be good enough.

DH is starting (and hopefully finishing) running the electric tonight. I *hope* by the end of this weekend I can share somep ictures that actually show progress.

MIL's surgery got bumped up to 3/8. :faint: Time to hustle. DH is *super* annoyed that I am finishing the subfloor today. He said, "Well, I don't see HOW you're going to get the plywood up there by yourself..." and I said, "Yeah, well the nice man at Home Depot can cut it in half for me, so neener neener. :p" :snicker:

Woman moment.....................

Time to move on..................

My discontinued hair color is no longer available anywhere online....................

I knew it was coming - it has been discontinued at least 5 years............ :(

The kindergarten bus just went past the house and the dogs heard it. They're howling and crying thinking the girls are coming home. We have a long time to go.
