What's For Dinner?

Cashew Chicken...Pinterest FAIL! After watching the boy gag a couple times & the rest of the family try to choke it down, DD14 & I ran to Little Caesars.

Homemade White Castle sliders, corn on the cob and tater tots!.....'cause we can!!

Brats, cute little Martin's potato rolls, corn on the cob, a lovely salad and whatever leftover sides that my bother decided not to take with him. Morningstar for DS GF.

What are funeral potatoes?

Cheezy hash brown casserole...also called party potatoes...no self respecting funeral lunch in our town will not have at least one pan of the potatoes...

Tonight we're just having burgers...fried in a pan like mom made them...too cold to grill...

That's funny--where I'm from (Utah) they are actually just called funeral potatoes.

Ooops I guess I should read back at least 2 or 3 posts before responding...

 We had this at my parents' house for Christmas dinner. My Mom makes prime rib melt in your mouth!

We marinate ours in rosemary, garlic, and red wine for 2 days before we cook in the oven. So delish! I only eat red meat once in a while so this is a treat for me! :-)

DH & I are going out. We've been sitting on a gc for a little local place since July, when I tucked it away for a "foster care break." Today's the day! :giggles:

Well dinner out was great, as usual! :giggles: Our waitress, whom we've known for awhile, is dropping off some behavior modification DVD program this week. So, dinner out AND behavior therapy in one fell swoop. :snort:

DH made this tonight. I had him make it since I remember making it twice in 24 yrs we've been married and it was never well received. Naturally, he saw it made on wgn and thought it would be awesome. I was like MEH, same thing, third time was not a charm. Sorry this just does not excite my taste buds and was way too labor/ dish intensive.
