There was 9" at O'Hare.

I would say we got about that at my house. Though our back yard easily has 2 feet - I had to shovel a path for the baby doggie, the snow drifts are MUCH taller than her. She couldn't get through it to tinkle. :giggles:

:shesaid:

What did I miss - 99/lb where? please and thankyou!
Sorry to disappoint, but probably only Kaeg & bf can make the trip. It's at Roxies in the City of Presidents... Quincy, MA.

Quincy is the birthplace of Presidents John Adams & his son John Quincy Adams, as well as statesman John Hancock [4th longest serving President of the Continental Congress]. The city was named after Colonel John Quincy, maternal grandfather of Abigail Adams and after whom her son John Quincy Adams was named. The proper pronunciation is kwin-zee, which is the way the Quincy family pronounced it.

My coworkers are just so rude. Common courtesies seem to be nonexistent.

I just got done covering someone elses work for 2 months while they were out on sick leave
that coworker is mad because I did all her work

seriously?? at least 2 or 3 times while she was gone she emailed me saying "Dont do my job better then me..."

too bad sister..

She's OK :cartwheel:

It took longer because the veins (and the web of affected veins) were both bigger than anticipated. Because she has a bleeding/lack of clotting issue they are going to keep her overnight in the hospital rather than send her back to the hotel as planned. She has to keep still because of the position of the incision and she's anxious and they don't think she'll be good.

Barring unforeseen complications (God forbid) she should be able to go home tomorrow, follow up in Sioux Falls in a month, if all is well those doctors will be the ones to decide when they can start the cancer treatments.

Woot For Momma!

I am thinking I wish I could have another baby. I thought I would feel "done" after my 4 boys and I don't. Wishful thinking I guess.

flippin' pissed...called my dentist who I've been with for 10 yrs. to schedule an appt. and since my COBRA dental is ghetto and only pays so much they want me to pay in full up front when they haven't even evaluated me yet...this chick was absolutely redick...what a piranha...guess I'll have to go back to the "in-network" guy whom I don't like but at least they'll pay in full and I should have very little to pay out of pocket. grrr....:pms:

:gah: Here we go again...something or I should say the same thing is wrong or going wrong with the semi again. Sorry to complain but we have had over $10,000 in repairs since mid December. I just paid the balance of one credit card and still have another balance due next week. :surrender:

I'm sure this has been asked before, but does anyone know how to get dingy whites bright white again? DD14 inherited a very dingy all white HS softball uniform. The pants are white with a thick red stripe of the same poly-blend material down the leg & the shirt is white with red appliqued logo/number, so I am hesitant to bleach them.

I need the uniform shiny clean by Monday.

Why do coaches pick white pants for girls? At any given moment 1/2 of them are sure to be bleeding. It's just one more thing to be concerned with. :surrender: Girls sports pants/shorts should only be offered in black.
