But I don't want to be on facebook, even fake. I just want her to post the pics here.

I did send her the buttercup pics eventually. You know, after having labor induced for 48 hours a nd not eating or sleeping for days and being cut open and having a newborn and learning to breastfeed...

Then I have to keep up with facebook.

mommysix it looks like "Leonard Gingerballs" just opened up for you. :giggles:

Thinking of Joy :huggy:

:shesaid: :drink:

Thank you  They really did hustle the burial along because of the weather :pout: but it was nice that some of our oldest friends still came, my BFF came from Woodstock in that stuff this morning. I felt awful, the associate pastor is a very elderly gentleman and I was worried about him driving in that mess this morning.

We were all a wreck, my kids (and nephew obviously) are taking this very hard. My son is particularly wrecked. It scared the bejeezus out of him to have me in the hospital with the ticker when she passed. I think it got very real for him. And he's absolutely terrified that something is going to happen to my mom. Who fell in the bathroom at the hotel this morning taking her shower before her tests at Mayo. :faint:

She's got very bad osteoparosis (**** it why can't I spell it right tonite!) it seems she did hurt her hip but it looks to be just bad bruising. Surgery at 8:45 in the morning.

My brother in law just called me, he's at Midway headed back to Raleigh. All the other flights since early this morning were cancelled but his is just delayed. They just came and told him he's the only one on the flight, he's got the whole plane to himself

Joy can we do anything? Is the mistah taking good care of you?

Thank you, I'm OK. Yes he is :) He's even been taking the dog out LOL (he RARELY does). He was so cute when I was in the hospital texting that picture of Brody with the sign on his neck. And this was cute, Brody loves Kibbles & Bits, but only eats the bits and leaves the other behind (he takes the food bite by bite and carries it away from his bowl leaving kibble all over the house). Mistah was feeling bad for him since he was missing me so much that he sat and separated all of his food before he filled his bowl so he only had a bowl of bits. He said Brody never took his face out of the bowl just stayed right there and ate 2 bowls of bits

I told Brody not to get used to that! I love him but :pigfly: am I going to start that!

Awwwwwww thats so cute of him!!!!!

DH used to have a cat at his mom's house that did the same thing with kibbles and bits. I had to read this post to him and we both got a chuckle. Thats soooo sweet of him. :)

Channel 2 news just called this a "meaty snow" lol which only reminded me of one thing...

There was 9" at O'Hare.

I would say we got about that at my house. Though our back yard easily has 2 feet - I had to shovel a path for the baby doggie, the snow drifts are MUCH taller than her. She couldn't get through it to tinkle. :giggles:

Can't wait for the 40degree weather we are supposed to get this weekend to melt some of this. Need warmer temps for the South side Irish parade.
