Heading out to grocery shop for a dear friend who broke her leg in two place while skiing for the 1st time. I tried snow skiing once, it was a disaster and vowed never to do it again.
 
Cookie is hanging in there...she's trying to keep busy and she's getting caught up on orders. She knows CW is thinking of her & she will be back soon.
 
Cookie and her DH will be getting together soon with Selene's DH to exchange gifts. They were all supposed to exchange gifts around the time of Selene's passing. It will be another tough day..............she will need more prayers of strength. :pout:
 
I saw Mary a couple days ago. She is very down and I think just trying to push through her days with cookie making. She made me and dh a beautiful platter of cookies. She just needs to keep busy to pass some time.

Ya know it snowed here................Dh was looking ahead at the weather and said something about 6 degrees next Sunday. Uuugh!

I am never this early on things, but just went with my DD 1 and 2 to but DD2 prom dress. Her dress is a size 00. And here I am now stuffing my face with wings and wine.

Today my dd was born she turned 13 in heaven, on the 7 th she passed away. After 13 years I still miss her. We even had McD's which is what I craved when I was preg. with her. Her name is Abigail Kathleen, and she is loved still.
 
I think Walgreens and the state of Illinois are conspiring to balance the state's budget with the sales tax they are collecting from me. :lol:
 
Just woke up.........
cant believe i took a 5-hour nap on my couch and missed picking up the heineken beer for the heineken/christmas decoration MIR that needed to be purchased by the 5th.
 
Getting ready to type up a note/contract/expectation list for DS15 as he prepares to begin his second semester of Sophmore year. Parenting teens sucks!
 
Running down the list of expectations ahead of time regardless of whether they've been misbehaving or not makes such a world of difference. So glad I'm past that teenage/ high school part.
 
DH has been out of work since dec 7th and we got more bad news meaning he won't be going back tomorrow like I hoped, thankfully we have some stocks we can sell because we used all our savings already. I'm so frustrated with him and disappointed because none of this had to happen, but did because he did something stupid. He is not fired thankfully but suspended for now, but I don't know how much longer we can do this because of the money and our stock pile is becoming invisible. His parents dont even know, and its hard keeping it from them. I'm so stressed out and we just bicker so much because he is home all the time. I need to do something to make money but don't even know where to start. Would like to start an etsy page with my wood signs but wood costs money. Trying not to be a downer, because I know what we're going thru is nothing compared to others because we have a roof over our head and a warm bed to sleep in. I just can't wait till things get back to normal.
