My mail at home and at work is way off. We ALWAYS get SOMETHING every single day at both places and I've had several days of nothing. I ordered rolls of stamps and priority mail stamps a week ago and they still haven't come, it's supposed to take a couple of days. Very annoying.

DD14 has high school softball tryouts today. :) I'm more nervous than her...trying not to let it rub off on her.

Dragonfly—why are you nervous about your DD?? Is she trying for varsity—I can’t imagine her not making freshman or sophomore team

It's such a beautiful day toda! :bliss: Sunny and close to 50! I took a look at the 10 day forecast and there's nothing about snow. I'm cautiously optimistic that we may not need the shovels for the rest of this season.
:faint:

<tossing salt over shoulder, hoping to avoid the jinx>

Shovels stay by the ready until April 2nd.

There are lots of good kids trying out. Plenty to form a solid freshman team. We have two solid teams from the leagues that filter into the HS. I know they will move some up & that they have slots to fill for the sr's who graduated, but it still makes me nervous. Plus, tryouts are indoors :dunce: in a small space :dunce:. My DD is an outfielder and there's no space to tryout for the outfield, so what will they base it on? I'll be better after she tells me how today goes. I bet there's 25+ freshmen trying out.

Went to an Art Party on Friday night at a small Art School in town. Had a blast. Here's a few pics....

All that went. Went with just one sister but ended up knowing 4 of the others in the group.

The instructor actually prefers to teach people that claim to have no talent because they listen to his directions better and tend to follow them. It was honestly a very "easy" picture to paint when he broke it down into steps.

Then he'd LOVE to teach me. :girl:

As for your last sentence...spoken like a true crafty person.

Oh it's not a claim. :surrender:

Are you going to hang it in your house?
