DD14's team won the whole thing last night. :) THAT was fun & kind of worth it, although I am trashed today. DD14 had a GREAT hit last night and she ended up scoring to tie the game 2-2 with two outs towards the end of the game. She's been a little off lately & one of her coaches thinks she should give up the technique she's been working on for 2 years, so I was so happy for her! After that they were reenergized & won 4-2 against a very good 18U team. (DD's team is 16U.) The other team was huge...my first thought was that we'd get our clocks cleaned, but the girls pulled it off. So much fun to come back from behind & beat an older team. This is going to be a good season!

Where the hell did ou guys play?! It's cold out! :lol: I assume indoor arena... I'll have to google.
 
Met with the staging lady yesterday to get ready to stage our house. She had some good ideas but seemed to hate curtains, failed to understand why we would want to use the sliding door (um, we have a dog, you just met her), and thought a bookcase with a shade over it would make a wonderful pantry. (We have a two-year-old.)

Also we have to remove everything from our bookcases and the sides of the entertainment center, so I'm not sure where I'm supposed to keep the books I'm reading or my kids' Wii games that they actually play on a regular basis.

Spent $200 at IKEA last night and didn't come close to getting everything on her list. At least another $200 of stuff she strongly recommended we do.


Which reminds me that I will be getting rid of my stockpile shelving. Sturdy, adjustable gray plastic shelves. I'd cut a CWer a good deal. Also have a dated solid wood dresser that needs to go.
 
Going to a plant nursery. Need some greenery INSIDE the house! Plus, I'll more than likely get some outdoor stuffs too! :lol:
 
Okay, 2 new things I tried this weekend and liked...

Katy's kettle corn Popchips...kind of reminds me of a lighter Rice Cake. Tasty!

And I love the Campbell's Natural Acorn Squash soup...at first, I was like too sweet, but I put some crackers and pepper in and it was delish! I got other flavors too, can't wait to try the clam chowder.
