Parents who just don't understand that it's okay to sat "no" to a child.
 
Now that my beloved snow is melting, I just LOVE avoiding all the dog poop that people didn't bother picking up all winter.....
it's all nice and mushy and just oh, so soft! :surrender:

How about not even picking up after your dog?!??!!? Walked DS1 to the bus stop on Friday, there was one pile on the corner. I picked it up so he wouldn't step in it....fast forward to Monday....5 piles on the same corner! WTF! Pick up after you dog people! :gah:

Got some of that at the end of my driveway!
People let there dogs poop in the street cause of the snow and then the plow pushs it in front of the driveway!
 
I've got the general "My DH leaves **** all over all the time cause he can't pick up after himself." blues! :ranting:

Every morning my routine starts with picking up his socks, jammy pants, t-shirt all in our room, then to the bathroom to pick up the mess he leaves, then to the kitchen to clean up his coffee mess all over the counter, mess from making a sammich (if he bothers to make one), put the can of coffee away (I haven't drank coffee for a year). He leaves the bedroom closet door open after dressing and the closet light on everyday. He leaves the front coat closet door open after he gets his coat every morning (all the heat goes up to the attic). Then once he finally leaves, he comes back in because he always forgets something and stands there and calls for me to bring him whatever he forgot that day (cause he doesn't wanna take his shoes off again).

Mind you I also have two boys I pick up after, but I expect that as they're kids but come on!!!:ranting:
 
My BIGGEST pet peeve is things not functioning as they should.

For example:
-the dog dish with the rubber bottom that is supposed to grip the floor so the dogs can't push it around slopping water all over my laundry room.

-the fact that I cannot dry my hair if the bathroom fan is on because the circuit blows.

-the gas grill's electronic ignition that doesn't work, so now I have to remove the grill grates & use a lighter, which increases my chances of not having eyebrows some day.

-my range not cooking evenly even after having it "recalibrated" several times when, for what it cost, it should prepare meals on its own.

There are so many little things that drive me nuts. :lol:
 
I pick up other dog poops too :(

One of the biggest offenders in our neighborhood is this big old UNneutered lab who roams the park and neighbor lawns regularly and NOBODY ever cleans up after him.

With 5 children playing in same said park, you'd think the parents would not want that crap over there for their kids to step/play in :surrender:

I'm right there with you on this one!!

It has taken me 3 years to get my dh to agree to get a new oven b/c I wanted a double oven and he doesn't want to replace anything until it's busted!

I finally won 3 weeks ago and paid a small fortune for a new one....had it installed and it is busted! The irony....right?

Been leaking gas in my house for 3 weeks! Today it gets repaired....guy leaves....I start a meatloaf and guess what.....THE WHOLE HOUSE SMELLS LIKE GAS!

Now we need to order a part to fix it....um....you already said you fixed it!

At this point....I politely (and firmly) told my "salesman" (order taker) to get it out of my house and get me a new one!

Dh is laughing and saying....go get 'em tiger!

Seriously....they put a faulty appliance that was leaking gas in my house for 3 weeks and they are shocked I want a new one?
 
My DD3 who doesn't hear a WORD I EFFIN SAY. I understand that kids don't listen, but I swear, her ears straight up TURN OFF when I talk to her. Example, yesterday she peed and I said, "Hold on, I have to go get more toilet paper honey".

Ten seconds later I hear "Mommy! Mommy! Mommy! Mommy! Mommmmyy! Mom! Mom!"

WHAT?!!?

"I need toilet paper"

Where the hell did I go?!? Grrrrrrr

And I know, I know, it'll only get worse...
 
if i repeat i apologize... i've been reading and LAUGHING for about 40 minutes... at work and getting nothing accomplished... so now i'm on to my rants:

DRIVING RELATED:

TURN SIGNALS -- how effin long does it actually take to flip a handle... you spend much more time to flip your finger and scream at me when you dont like my driving... use that time more wisely and USE YOUR SIGNAL!!!! does anyone even really think about it when they use it or is it just habit?!?!!

TAILGATING -- buddy, its 45 here and i'm going 52... there is no fcking reason for you to be on my ****... and if ya dont like going 7 over the speed limit... use your handy dandy TURN SIGNAL, get into the next lane and go around me!!!! the only thing you're making me do by being in my **** is make me go 10 under.

COMING TO A COMPLETE STOP TO MAKE A TURN -- really?

FB LIQUID COURAGE -- if you cant say it to my face, dont say it on facebook... it just makes you look like a coward.

WHINING -- no one cares!!!!! i want to see things that make me smile, updates on your life that matter, songs that make me sing, quotes that make me think... not your ****ing. STFU

WORK RELATED:

people that act like the receptionist is invisible... we're not just here to make your coffee, stamp your mail and transfer your calls... we are humans... treat us like one and not the company ****

in laws... enough said.

My brother makes this list again. Saw him last night to celebrate his birthday as we are wrapping the night he pulls me to side & we have this gem of a conversation:

Him - "I had a great time. Thanks for coming out & if you see mom can you tell her I said thank you for dinner"(My mother had already left & gone home at this point.)
Me - "Why not call & tell her yourself?"
Him - "I just figrued you would talk to her before me."
Me - "So I'm what? your translator? Secretary? Lapdog? Just tell her yourself. I'm sure she'd like hearing it more from you them me anyway. "

He steps back & stands there looking at me with that "**** it she's called me out again." look.

Him - "Well I did tell her already at dinner."
Me - "Are you serious? Why in the hell are we talking about this then?"
Him - "Well I just wanted to say thanks again to her."
Me - "Duly noted & I'll be sure to ask her if you really are my brother the next time I talk to her you strange man."


My poor mother...having to deal with us both. :lol:
 
Why can't people send back a response card to a party on time..or at all for that matter?? It is self addressed and stamped. All they have to do is put it in their mailbox! I've had to call and leave a message almost begging for an anwer and still nothing. This makes me crazy. Rude..

not really an everyday thing but it is making me crazy right now.
 
OH ANNNNND... please and thank you and your welcome and excuse me and all of those other nice manners!... JUST USE THEM... its not difficult and you look like such an **** when you dont!
