We've got to respect their decision on sexuality. The world is a free place and if they want to be identified as women, there is nothing we can do about it. My major focus is minding my business and ensuring I do the very best in life.

I have known some who cross-dress but prefer to be known as female or male as it is something they do that they enjoy but do not see themselves as the opposite sex.

I am happy for people to cross-dress if they enjoy doing so, as long as they are not affecting me then I am happy for them to be themselves

The whole glam rock thing was crossdressing, so why is there just now a big debate in transsexualism these days? Anyway, I don't like it, but I can see the motive for rebellion. It's this whole "rebel thing", I guess.

Cross-dressing is when a man (or woman) who identifies as a man (or woman) dresses up in the clothing of the opposite gender for fun and frivolity. It's harmless and it's entirely centered around having fun. Being trans is to be born with a female brain in a male body, or a male brain in a female body. Trans people aren't doing it for attention, they aren't doing it because it's "cool," and they're not doing it in an effort to influence children, as some have suggested.

Cross-dressing men are still men, cross-dressing women are still women. Unless you mean trans, that is a different story.

You're referring to trans people here, not cross-dressers, and no, trans people are not 'trying to make everything about them,' the focus is on trans people because of outside influences and pure ignorance.

Yeah, you're right! I had crossdressing mixed up with transgender. My bad!

As for crossdressers, I don't have anything at all against them or how they want to dress. Anyone can wear what they want and make up if they want it. There's nothing wrong with that.
