mine is pink floyd's "run like hell."

"if they catch you in the back seat trying to pick her lock, they're gonna send you back to mother in a cardboard box; you better run" ...

i'm already assuming that most you have never even heard of pink floyd <sigh>

"it's easier to stay out than get out"

I was too young to watch (much less understand) The Wall when the movie was released, but yes, we've heard of them...

I have a bunch of favorites, depending on my mood.

If I'm in a nostalgic "I miss that girlfriend" mood, it'd be either Mother Love Bone's "Chloe Dancer" or Goo Goo Dolls' "Iris".

Long drive with windows down and radio blaring tunes: Urge Overkill's "Sister Havana" and the Beatles doing "Twist & Shout".

Romantic tunes: U2's "All I Want Is You" and Van Halen's "Why Can't This Be Love".

The current tune I can't get enough of is Creed's "Higher".

Heck, I guess I like too many songs to be able to pick a favorite!

I can't really pic a favorite song, but I wanted to let you know that yes, even *I*, have heard of Pink Floyd. I even have "Dark Side of the Moon" and "Wish You Were Here." So there

It depends on my mood as to what my favorite song is. Right now I'm stuck on the entire Matchbox 20 CD Mad Season.

A conservative is a liberal who's been mugged.

Too many tunes to list... Right now it is Nine Days: Absolutely. "This is the story of a girl. Who cried a river and drowned the whole world. While she might look sad in photographs she's absolutely stunning; when she smiles..."

One of my favorite a while ago was Seal's Kiss From a Rose.

That Nine Days song is a great summertime driving tune - roll down the windows, turn up the volume, and drive...

I still love the first song from U2: Joshua Tree, Where the Streets Have No Name. Another favorite is on the same album, With or Without You. For all the ladies, I sing right along, and very much in key, too.

It depends on my mood as to what my favorite song is.

I agree my favorites vary on a daily basis. Right now my current favorite is by Zombie Nation. I love the beat to it. And yes I do listen to Pink Floyd, too bad I lost the few cassettes I owned when I last moved.

Im not even going to try and pick a favorite song. It really does depend on my mood. And YES I do know Pink Floyd. I acctually used to listen to "Run Like Hell" to get me pumped up before a race. I had The Wall on tape but I listened to it so much that I wore out the tape. I have a poster in my room on it the quote "Mother should I trust the Government" Pink Floyd is one of my favorite bands.

uh yeah . . .

"Two Fine People" by Cat Stevens

Though, "I think I see the light" by Cat Stevens (again), and "Brown Eyed Woman" and "Till the Morning Comes" by the Grateful Dead are definitely close to #1!

"Seize the moment. Remember all those women on the 'Titanic' who waved off the dessert cart."

-Erma Bombeck

Mine also rotates constantly, but I don't think I can ever get sick of Sublime's Scarlet Begonias.

----------------------------
"Should I call you Logan, WeaponX?"

Speaking of Pink Floyd, have any of you tried the trick with Dark Side of the Moon and The Wizard of Oz?
I did it a while back and it was kinda freaky. It actually does sync up.

I think I might know what you're talking about, DD, but - could you elucidate a bit anyways? It is still kinda early for Poss' brain to kick in...

I still haven't seen that, but I have seen the mysterious silioute of the person in the background of Three Men and a Baby.
Last time I saw that movie, I completely forgot about it and it caught my eye and gave me chills.

Hrm..I never heard of that one..

Poss, I love those songs Chloe Dancer and Sister Havana- I used to blast them all the time...
I can't say I have a favorite song, either. I enjoy hearing my favorite songs of a certain time frame and thinking of the memories that I attach to those songs. Like TEB's Semi-charmed life in the summer of 97' and my blasting of Prodigy and Bjork before heading out to the my job at a night club a few yrs ago- or Hey Jelousy by the Gin Blossoms when I just got out of high school..hanging out being' naughty with friends...and of course seeing John Easedale of Dramarama at a NJ club yrs after his hits (sporting less hair of course -"I'll give you anything, anything!"

"The more I know the less I understand"

Subject to change but I will narrow it down to 2 songs: Ministry's "So What" and the Beatles's "Hey You've Got to Hide Your Love Away"

my eyes, the goggles do nothing

If you play the movie The Wizard of Oz, and start playing Dark Side of the Moon at a specific part (at the beginning of the MGM lion's 3rd roar), the music perfectly syncs up with the movie until the album ends. Makes for some very cool moments.

I'd describe it to you, but it would ruin it. Needless to say, it's trippier than listening to DSOTM by itself.

DD, I've been meaning to do that for I dunno how long. That and look for the shadow of the hanging munchkin.

DD> Thanks for the tip! Now, I must find copies of DSotM and WoZ...

Mth> There really is no hanging munchkin, just some funky shadows.
frown.gif
Wait, I'm frowning, like I'm *disappointed* there was no hanging munchkin - how sick is *that*?

DD and MTH> The 3MaaB silhouette was "supposedly" the ghost of a dead boy - what it actually was, was a cardboard standee of some kid - I think th ekind that they's prop up in a crowd scene to make a space look more filled-in.

LM> *Awesome* taste in music! I just love it when I find out others share some of my faves. Every time Hey Jealousy plays on the radio (and it's too few between mind you) I've just *got* to crank it up.
