PS3 for me. The YLOD is only common on older fatter models of the console. The models you'll find on shelves today brand new (not used) aren't as common to experience the YLOD. I sold my old 60GB i bought back in 2007 and made about $30 less then what I paid for it back in 07. It had full backwards compatibility and played every PS1 and PS2 game as well as the PS3 lineup (obviously :P) However, it was much more susceptible to getting the Yellow Light of Death. This is due to the thermal paste used on the GPU and the fact that the console runs a lot hotter then the newer slimmer models. So hours of excessive play would certainly get you a YLOD in time. I sold mine before I got to that point and it was like having the console for 3 years @ $10 a year :P I got myself a Slim and haven't had ANY issues. I don't even worry about the YLOD now. Plus Sony's online is free and with the Vita coming out you can really get a bang for your buck and sync up both consoles together to transfer data back and forth between the two. :-)

I'm going to say XBOX 360 because of their premium online services, ;)
I've heard many great reviews about it.
