To put it in perspective, ME is to 98 as 98 was to 95.
[edit]Fergot something. Rumor mill has it that Windows ME is not going to have legacy support. Of course, I haven't had a chance to use legacy devices in my fiddling around with it. Another rumor has it that RTM will be next month. Enjoy
