UFC is on the hunt to replace Overeem for the title match on UFC 146.

They have Frank Mir and Mark Hunt on top of the list. Who do think deserves to fill in?

I would love it if they choose Mir...

It's almost guaranteed to be Frank Mir, he's already fighting on the card and has a good streak going. He's the fight that makes the most sense.

Just an update from the twittersphere, there seems to be 5 names that has been bandied to replace Overeem.

That includes Mir, Cain, Henderson, Mark Hunt, Emelianenko and Dan Henderson (this one surprised me).

Dan Henderson classifies as a heavyweight now?

See, that's the man's problem, he never fights at his potential because he's always dropping and gaining between the Middlewight, Light Heavyweight, and now Heavyweight classes.

And personally, I wouldn't give a **** about Fedor Emelianenko. He lost his mystique the moment he lost. Back when the UFC wanted him and were willing to give him the FATTEST PAYCHECK EVER, he turned them down. Now he's just a desperate fighting looking to cash in on his own name that isn't half as great or mystical as it once was.

The way I see it, Mir and Cain are the only worthy ones.

Though Hendo has fought in the Heavyweight but not in the UFC, he's too small for a heavyweight, he'd better stay in Light Heavyweight. If he open talks about his willingness to fight Dos Santos then it's all about the money.

I like what you said about Fedor, I feel sorry for the guy.

Well it's true. Dana White offered him the fattest contract of all time to come and fight Brock Lesnar. He turned it down. Personally, I think it's because the competition is too great for him and he knew his invincible streak would be in danger.
