I have been looking at different password managers recently and I wondered if there are any recommendations for a good one?

1Password seems to be the most common / popular password manager and I use it occasionally for really important passwords. It's more expensive I find than other options but it does the job well and I love the UI for the desktop app they have. It makes things easy to manage. We use it at my work as well so it's nice to get to use it often as it's very handy when you need a password ASAP.

I just use the inbuilt password manager from Apple. To me I find this a convinient solution to password managing that doesn't require additional apps to be downloaded and can be transferred between devices easier. The other one I have used in the past is Lastpass. I didn't have any problems with it but just decided to switch to the Apple one.

It is interesting to hear different users opinions on password managers. I need to start using one and will definitely check out some of the recommendations and follow this thread for other tips. I currently use a very basic excel spreadsheet system to manage most of my passwords... with the occasional post it note list too! So my methods are in need on an update for security and organisation reasons.

I have used both 1Password and LastPass before and both are pretty good solutions but I've found that the built in password manager in my browser is enough for me. I don't like the idea of paying for a password manager when it's a fairly common built in feature now. The password manager in Chrome is good and it's great when you can do auto login as well.
