I have been trying to go to key lime cove but there are not taking ANY discounts or codes for that weekend and i cannot bring myself to pay triple the amount to get a room that we really just spend a few hours in!
I can only really plan a staycation and two other families that would like adjoining rooms so total of three adults (just the moms) and a total of 7 kids! So I am just curious;

WHER IS EVERYONE GOING/DOING AND HOW MUCH SHOULD WE BE SPENDING FOR A COUPLE OF DAYS?

A friend of mine lives in Lake Geneva and goes to the Blue Harbor in Sheboygan. They really like it.

I have never been there. Just a suggestion.

We have gone to Blue Harbor and had a nice time!

I am not going anywhere but my son got invited to go away. My friend works for Southwest Airlines so she's taking a couple of kids. Maybe to Florida. So jealous!

I may take my older son and a friend (if any are around) to visit my mom in Galena.

We went to West Palm Beach/Singer Island 2 weeks ago. We spent 0 on hotel (used points) and it was right around $500 for flight ( economy plus) and baggage fees. $120 for a hired car/taxi so we didn't have to dig our car out of the lot(cheaper than covered parking and on the way there we ended up with the stretch limo!! ). We spent another $500 on food /drinks and local transport so for 7 days/6 nights around $1200 for 2 by the beach. It was very relaxing and nice to have the added perks!

We're not going anywhere. We just went to Disney in November, so it is time to save up for hopefully another trip in the fall:)

Galena's always a nice time. Just went there a couple weeks ago. So pretty. There's a water park resort too, can't think if the name. We just stay at the Country Inn and Suites. Big water slide for big kids, small baby slide for the little ones.

DH,DD 1 and I will be here. DD2 and 3 will be going to Disney for band. DD3 will be missing a number of softball games but since band is for a grade and not just for fun the coach said she could go. I believe we do play Homewood when she is gone dragonfly.

What is this Spring break you speak of?

That said, my mom is taking Jonny to see my brother and his girlfriend via train over the Easter long weekend. (that is when our school system's spring break is :/ ) He will love it :)

No $ for anything fun here.

I'll be trying to keep DS busy with chores (not his girlfriend!)

I've never gone anywhere on spring break. DS has a TWO week spring break and we aren't going anywhere. I am planning on doing things around town for free--zoo, botanic gardens, train museum, library, parks, etc. I would want to spend less than $1000 for a couple of days---stuff ads up quickly. I am planning a vacation now for this summer (I never have before) and I am amazed at how much things cost.
