that you were happy about?

i picked up a GIGANTIC bulletin board last week and i'm so HAPPY

i have it hanging by my desk now w/all my CRAP on it :D

A total impulse buy, but I was in Costco the other day, and bought The Pink Panther Collection on DVD. I grew up watching those movies with my father, and laughing maniacally at Peter Sellers. He was pure comic genius in those movies. His fights with Cato are still some of the funniest scenes in movie history, IMHO.

"bewair japonees watresss bearing fortuune cookie. ... japonees watresss?" "HYAAAAA!!!!"

so classic

i bought flip-flops that were too small.. but i'm not gonna take them back because i'd look stupid

ANOTHER pair of shoes. Bright orange jelly-kind with small heals. They're cute, but...a waste.

I bought a really really big pan and a meat cleaver.

Except I'm too busy to cook a meal that big and have ppl over and I'm trying not to eat so much meat! But I'm still really pleased with myself!

Ended up giving my dad the Pink Panther set, and I'm going to go back and pick up another copy for myself.

 I ended up doing similiar involving my dad with my Dean Martin Greatest Hits CD!

I used to watch the Pink Panther movies too back in the day, what a hoot.. I might have to grab that.

I'm not a shopper (go ahead and be shocked... a woman who doesn't like to shop!) so my most recent "stupid" purchase would be something I got for my mother for Christmas. She loves the song "I Want a Hippopotamus, for Christmas", so I thought I'd get her a stuffed Hippo as a cheap gag gift. It took me WEEKS to find a stuffed hippo, but I finally found this completely ugly, lilac colored one, for just a couple of bucks in a "sale" bin at a toy store.

Now, the stupid parts begin... I decided I'd get her a CD of the song and play it while she opened the box I'd wrapped the Hippo in. I had to spend $19 for the "Dr Dimento" CD with the song on it, and THEN found out that my folk's CD player wasn't working, so I wound up spending another $25 for a portable CD player. My "cheap" gag gift turned into a $50 affair in the blink of an eye. LOL

Tigress don't feel bad...I'm not the one to shop either...  I'm too busy on the net all day to move and do anything! Not to mention I am super lazy! But I just recently bought a surf board! It was a good buy at the time...because I was on the beach... but I don't even live around water.... I guess I will always have it when I do decide to go back to the beach though!

I recently ran out in a mad panic just before the shops shut to buy another bag of potting compost because the one I was using ran out half way up the pot........the cheapest bargain buy was huge and heavy...i was hot and tired, I lugged it into the car...out of the car....around to the back door. The just as i finished potting the plant, i went inside and shut the door....and there sitting quietly where it had been for months, behind the door, was a spare sack of compost! Doh. All hot and sweaty for nothing.

To cap it all, the **** plant looks like it dying!

A flip flop pendant! Do I really need this hot fashion item that I prob won't wear next yr?

I cant stop from buying DVD's. I dont really need them, and I really shouldn't be spending the money.

I bought a hackey sack :)

Dunno why, ****s n' giggles I guess. I mainly use it for throwing and catching rather than what it's meant to be used for, ah well.
