Beef sandwiches with a nice crusty italian bread sounds SO good! And we have all those roasts! I think you mighta just planned my menu for me too! :) Thanks!
 
I'm bringing seafood gumbo to a superbowl party in honor of New Orleans :bliss:

Awwww....you weren't supposed to look for a new one. I just thought maybe an old one was still good. Some old lady boozers (I kid you not) scooped up all the clearance Smirnoff anyway. Every time I passed by some sterotypical looking "old lady" (complete with old-lady sachel) made a beeline and stopped (nearly) dead at the clearance booze carts. Every time. It was hysterical.

I did see the other links too, btw. Thanks! I've got my work cut out for me! :) :) :)

Okay, more OT. Saw lots-o-booze reps today at Jewel (nothing good - just moving things around.) One guy looked sort of familiar but I didn't think much of it.

Fast forward later in the day and I'm about to head out of a CVS that wasn't really close to Jewel AT ALL. Who should walk in? Mr. Wine Guy! Then I realized that I recogonized him from yet another Jewel from months ago...and another (the second of which I skedaddled from when I thought I was "made" by him and his partner the day after first seeing him.)

I "shopped" a bit longer to see if anything good would come of it. It didn't :pout: but it makes me think I might as well get a job w/these guys. We work the same route and shift! :lol:




Okay, Superbowl. I'm also making little hot doggies. Used snack tags on the Fav 4 packaged meat deal and picked them up for .50/each (less actually, w/overage from the ice.) I'm thinking a chili sauce/jelly type of thing in a little crock to keep them warm.

And the chili/cheese dip previously mentioned. Was gonna do chicken legs but someone said they'd bring wings, so I'm off the hook there.

I seriously need a plan.
