What to do?

Several months ago I received a RAOK from another member. It was a used cash register neatly packed away in its box.
Well today I took the register out of the box and found a sum of $$ in it.
Do I:

A) Tell the member and return the money?
B) Tell the member and offer to split the money with them?
C) Tell the member and keep the money?
D) Keep my mouth shut?

Now, technically the money would be his, because the car is his--but he called me--I took it over to her
She forgot that her Dad had told her to always have hidden money--where no one would look just in case.
She was thrilled to get it back (she really needed the money) My brother said that he couldn't in good conscience keep it--
NOW_-if it had been bought at a dealership--maybe he would have kept it since you really couldn't track down who owned the car etc
so--i say--talk to them--they might need the money--or they might say keep it or split it

These are tough problems to have my friend...let's review:

A. Doesn't have to worry about losing a receipt for a rebate, just hit a few keys and viola!
B. RAOK turns out to contain a sum of money (which you should tell the RAOK'er about :tap
