What books do you like to read if you are into reading?

I love to read pretty much anything and can spend all day reading. I prefer a lot of mystery novels however.

I've never been a big fan of mystery novels myself. Although I must say I don't think I've given it a fair chance. What would you say is your favorite mystery novel of all time? I like to listen to others' favorite books and I end up reading those. One of the books I've read based on someone else's favorite list was "The Book of Lost Things" I enjoyed that a lot. I read every night before I go to bed and sometimes more during the day it just depend on how good the book is. I would say I spend at least 30 minutes a day reading.

I have so many favorite mystery novels to say but I do have a favorite mystery author. His name is John Grisham. All of his books will get you so hooked that it's hard to put his books down. I've read all of his books. He writes with a lot of passion, detail, and whatever is on his mind. He has great story plots too.

I will have to look him up then, John Grisham. Are there any particular novels of his that you'd recommend I start with? :)

I can spend all day reading, provided I had the time to do so.

Most of the time, I enjoy fantasy, science fiction, and horror/thriller. I will read an occasional mystery but I haven't read one quite a while. If you like mystery, you might try "The House of Dies Drear" and "The Mystery of Drear House" by Virginia Hamilton. I read those and I loved them. The first book was actually required reading when I was in school but then we got to watch the movie when we were finished. I ended up liking the book so much that I read the second book the next year when I found it at the library.
