GREG - You have a point with alot of what you said , However many Modern Day bands WITHOUT influences showing , and fairly orginal Writing and playing are pretty good , However I freaking hate Most "Nu-metal" , they don't so much attempt playing , as they re-gurgitate it into Distortion and un-inspired Lyrics . . . But still with so many varied players , it's hard to actually find originallity any more . . .
However , Velvet revolver (Slash and Duff from G'N'R & Scott from STP ) -Set Me Free , I just learnt it on ma Gee-tar and it's soundin' good , Can't wait for Contra Band . . .
