The past few days have been crazy with some women doing the hashtag #CutforAmber on Twitter as a means of protesting the final ruling that said Amber will pay Depp $15 million for defamation of character after the couple's splitting with concerns on domestic abuse. What do you have to say about the ruling favored the man, Johnny Depp?

The ruling of the court was a landmark judgement when it comes to domestic violence and defemation. The Jurors observed that Amber did not only defame Johnny Depp, but also committed violence against him. It is one of those few cases in which a male victim of domestic violence has ever gotten a favourable judgement. The Jurors did not only give a ruling to his favour but also gave Amber a Punitive judgement to pay Depp 5 million dollars.

Are you saying in essence that what the court did was right? This is because a lot of women went on a social media protest saying the Amber verdict wasn't fair and demanded for justice for Amber.

I watched the Amber Herd vs Johnny Depp court trial and the whole time, I was hoping that Johnny won. Some people will not like me saying that but as someone who is also a survivor of domestic abuse, it seems that women are usually the only ones to be believed a lot of the time despite the fact it can also happen to men too as we saw with this case.

This was the start of something and the start of men being believed and that they can and will come under violence from a woman, even if they seem to be the stronger ones.
