And Blake was only a few milli seconds away from Bolts 200 m WR too. I can't wait to see them head to head.

It is in their culture I guess and their genetics. Most of our quality sprinters have Caribbean roots.
Still they are rubbish past 400m!

How has Tyson Gay been doing? He has given him a decent run at time. I however feel that this will be a repeat of last olympics. Bolt winning by far.
Its wierd though how the genetics of people from a certain island make them better sprinters than people from the rest of the world!
I've never heard of Yohan Blake to be honest. He will need to improve his time if he wants to challenge Usian Bolt.
Sprinting in Jamaica is a national obsession. Stadiums are full for school and college races. Thousands of people just to watch a school race and possibly the future stars of Jamaica. Genetics does play a part as well, who was the last white 100 metre champion in the Olympics?
Of course Genetics play a part - I just find it fascinating that the gene pool from a small Island are producing consistently the best in the world.
It's very unlikely anyone will beat him this year, he's just so far ahead in terms of the speed compared to the others he literally makes them look like amateurs. As for why their faster if you check genetics people from the Caribbean have more fast twitch muscles or their generally larger allowing them to accelerate faster.
Nobody can beat Bolt. With his power off the block and his sprinting ability he is unstoppable. Nobody will come close to him, and he will be racing against himself. I can't wait to watch this guy in the 100 this summer. I hope he breaks his own record.
