1. Keep your body has a competent opponent to block.
2. You should also have enough speed to chase an opponent who had escaped
3. Learn the opponent's movements, and determine whether he is left-handed
or not. It's useful to know the movement of the next opponent.
4. Stamina should be strong for the SB and WB, because they have
alternating field.
5. Immediately back up the position of another defender when he came
forward to help the attack, although when they conceded it is not 100%
your fault.
6. Tackling it from the front instead of behind. SIDE? No problem as long as
not subject to foot your opponent.
7. Jump back ahead when goalkeeper. These conditions are dangerous when
your opponent to make the counter attack.
8. Enhance your collaboration with teammates.
9. Ideally, advanced defender when there are set piece, like a corner.
10.Never complacent even if the team dominated the game.

thanks for the information :D
actually i'm not the defender, i'm playmaker  but it must be important to know how to defense when our team got attacked :D

when playing football, my position is always defender
and the only thing that makes me looks clumsy is my stamina :D
maybe i should increase it

Nice tips that you have shared with us.However,I don't really care when I'm playing soccer :P As long as I get the ball,I will just run for the goal and if there are other opponents in front of me,I will probably pass the soccer to my teammate :D Street soccer don't really require all this.We will just play with the walls hehe :D

I do all these already, I'll also mention if your left back or right back you need to communicate with each other and for only one of you to go up for the corner or free kick.
