Ok, so how many of us have joined sites with the craziest admins or Mods ever? I have a few times, where like the admins or mods let the "power" get to their heads. They go all cooky on you. I actually just last night asked the admin and I qoute... "Would you be interested in changing the software?" Because it was a proboards forum. He then banned me and sent me this message. (TC was my username) Mind you he had contacted me prior of being moderator.

"TC this is really not acceptable to be doing this here.Perhaps it's best if you were to head off and leave this forum.Clearly your interest is focused elsewhere so to help you with the move I am removing you from the moderators position and removing your account.A few of us have been here from the start and have no plans on jumping ship
I am sorry tc but it's just how it is."

This guy is either really ban happy, or doesn't understand what change the software means.

I got a few stories to share of other similar events. Later.... =)
 
I think it's Ironic, because all forum staff discussions debate software change? I was quite confused. I just had to laugh though.
 
Everyone will not agree on everything. I am pretty easy going for the most part. I do want PF to move forward to XF2 at some point.
 
Another thing about pro boards, you have to log onto this really sad looking screen. We can call it "The white screen of death."

Would you sack me for disagreeing :P Until this theme works there, I ain't moving anywhere. When and if it does, I may consider it

This isn't you disagreeing with me. This is you not willing to do anything until you get what you want. But you and I will chat about things. I am very open to your ideas and so on.

You need to make change to move forward is most cases. I think a few of you want this to be an MyBB forum instead. Which I have no plans on changing it.

Haha no I'm actually not a huge fan of myBB :P I prefer XF. Just want to make tpsure our awesome theme and plugins work before we move but I agree we will defiently need to move on with software version in the future.

Well then we are on the same page. We have to talk about the mods. I am not to sure we need all the ones that are installed. We should do a list or something. I don't want to move to XF2 until the mods we want are updated to work with XF2. I like this theme, but want a dark one as well.
 
Wait... why aren't you guys tyring to ban each other for disagreeing or making recommendations.

A little darker, like a shade of blue would be nice.

If you did a mass message, you might be able to get up to a quater of the members to come back.

Haha me and Fords work very well :P You have to work as a team rather than an individual to make a successful forum

And yes, we are working on a darker theme
