They are saying on Thursday we are suppose to get 18 inches of snow

Why? I'd hate to have to hit the bank every other week. Their hours are shorter and shorter.

We don't have a direct deposit option at my job. Only 9 employees!

We're a small company too. Right now, only 6 employees, 2 owners and about 6 independent contractors. We've had direct deposit since I started here.

I used to always have direct deposit, twice there was some "glitch" and it was rejected by my bank (separate jobs and banks). Both times, it was over a long holiday weekend. No pay for me :9: the clincher was the second time. December, 1998, was supposed to get paid on the 24th, it was rejected. No pay over the HOLIDAY with 2 little kids :pout:

F*ck direct deposit ;)

Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow...

Kidding, I was getting a jump on christmas carols of chistmas 2013!

Be very careful Lisa. I found myself humming that same little tune having got all caught up in the snow hoopla. Need I remind you we got about a foot and a half of snow.

Just saying, DH does conference calls with most of the weather people--and this was what they put out--now he always says--weather changes with the wind--but my girls loved the idea of that much snow--I am going to wait though until Tues or Wed--and see what they say--if I should make a run to the store and stock up. I would love for the kids to have a snow day--and just play--then it can all go away----However, our blue and gold is on Friday--it would not be fun to reschedule that--but GO WITH THE FLOW_-that is what my sons K teacher always said---what will be --what will be

Steve, my uncles took a very similar picture the one year it snowed on Christmas Day in Tucson, AZ back in 1989. They used to take pix of themselves chilling in the sun on Christmas to taunt the Idaho relatives with, but that year it snowed (a whole maybe half inch at my grandmother's) and they still took the pic.

I'm sure it will happen cause dh is out of town next week! We get hit with big snow storms everytime he isn't home to help remove it!

DS #1 and hubby are headed to Milwaukee Friday night. Hope everything is cleaned up by then. They have a hotel room since Saturday morning there is a test for DS.

I will have to talk with dh--haven't heard any more--maybe Mary we will get lucky and it will miss us-----
Guess we will know when the time is closer!!!
