I watched the Dark Knight rises about two weeks ago, and I can honestly say the movie was pretty good. I won't spoil the movie for those that have seen it yet, but Batman really went through a lot in this movie, but I'm still a huge fan of him.

Anyways, who has seen it?

If you haven't seen it, here's the official trailer:

I haven't been to the cinema in many moons, but I hope that the movie will be on Videoload (T-Home's PPV system) soon. :)

I've seen it.

Three words:

Awesome. Awesome. AWESOME.

Scratch that, THREE more!

AWESOME! AWESOME. AWESOME!

Did I mention it's.....

AWESOME!?

If this ever comes to DVD, I'm buying it. Pronto!

Bane has been a forgettable character until The Dark Knight Rises.

That's not even all. The soundtrack was awwwwesome. Masterful.

And why shouldn't it be? It was composed by freakin' Hans Zimmer. He did the musical score in Modern Warfare 2. Expect adrenaline pumping music out of this.
I'm sure they'll be a next one. Did you see the clip when the cop said he was Robin?
Yeah, but Batman has to be the second half of this team in order for the Robin character to go anywhere. I don't know how they'll do the next Batman film since Batman's dead in the eyes of the onlookers... "There's just no #@^&ing way Batman's alive!"

Then again, this is freakin' Batman. Where Ra's al Ghul makes Batman immortal. This is also where Thalia isn't supposed to stab Batman, either. Yet, she did.

Well at the end Batman's character was seen by Alfred - he was looking at him, then the movie just ended. Bane really kicked Batman's **** though. It had me at the edge of my seat, but ending when Batman was fighting back was some epic ****.

Yea, I know Bruce is alive. It's just I don't know how they'll do the next movie - Wayne made it clear he wants to retire from this Batman character.

Christopher Nolan wanted Batman to be "beaten" as this is based on an earlier comic DC did. Bane broke Bats' back and somehow managed to fight back, as shown in the film. He redeemed himself in that fight, which I also think is epic. :)

Waiting for the Blu-ray. Movie theaters are awesome, but I also like the special features found on that expansive disc. I can't believe that so much stuff can fit into a Blu-Ray disc. I remember when my Windows 98 had a 7 GB hardrive and I could barely install a few modern games without going over the limit.

They also said the DVD may have "Directors cut" are you excited for that aspect as well?

@Carlos That really sucks, I wonder if that'll be the last Batman movie, or they'll replace him.

You would be surprised. The original Dark Knight Blu-Ray and the Spiderman movies had 2 to 4 hours of content give or take. Blu-Ray can handle The Dark Knight Rises no problem. In fact, video games (PlayStation 3) take up about 80 percent of the disc, with no content being cut.

The director's cut will be included in the Blu-Ray disc, it's standard.

I've seen the movie now on T-Home/Videoload, and I think it's the most uninteresting, boring, disappointing Batman movie of all time. :bored:

In that movie, Batman is portrayed as an anti-hero, and the whole movie generally is more like a regular TV police movie ... the scale of the whole scenario could've been a battleground of epic proportions, but it's just lame, like a fart cushion that gives off a tiny sound when used ... pffft ... pffft ... it's like the deflating noise of a small balloon let loose ...

The greatest joke of all in that movie is that Batman doesn't die when the nuke is set off (and it's neither shown nor plausible how he's supposed to having escaped it) ... the nuke doesn't even generate a fire storm or radiation ... another joke in the movie is that it isn't shown how Batman returned from the place in the desert back to Gotham ... and there's other countless problems in that movie ... a B-rate or even C-rate movie with a huge budget ...

It contains many implausible turns of events ... and chances of plausible turns of events aren't used, and are dangling in front of the viewer (i.e. often times, obvious chances aren't used, and instead a counterintuitive path is taken).

The movie is so bad, I could go on for ages about it and what I hate about it, but I guess it's just not worth that much of my time.

I can only hope that next time, they hire better writers, and a better director. This is a stinker of a movie, and its predecessor is much better (despite that having shown similar signs). It's an atrocity towards fans of the Batman universe.

I am glad you said it lol I didn't find this Batman movie to be all that great...was kinda wanting it to be over after about 30 minutes.

When my previous electric kettle had random failures, that was kinda more interesting than that movie.
