The Confabulation Thread - Part 2

Feels good to be home. Been helping someone move all day.

Crap ... I thought the snus would be working for you.

I tried to use chewing tobacco (German one, it's just like snus w/o the pocket), but it didn't work for me, just like with any other thing. I'm still smoking!

I'm making my own cigarettes (I buy the filter rolls and tobacco separately and have a small hand-operated machine to stuff them), this saves me about 70% of the money.
Chewing tobacco is so disgusting.

How does that happen?
What did you do

Back pain sucks, glad yours is feeling better.
Lifting at the gym. Didn't realize I was injured. Did extreme leg lifting / shoulder exercises where I use my back and it locked up. I stayed on my back for two days and it felt a lot better.

Thanks for the good looks. I never had any back pain before and it sucked.

ouch, that sounds horrible
I ran twice last week, planning on running tomorrow after work. It's going to be cold though. :(

I hate running in the cold. I am going to soon switch to High Intensity Training instead of doing cardio. I don't want to sacrifice mass gaining though.

ya.. I don't have a gym in my house
I do have floor space that I can do sit ups ;)
Get a few dumbells. It would be space savy to get these: http://www.bowflexselecttech.com/bo...&bmUID=1355382764232&gotoproduct=1&sku=710000 and an adjustable bench http://www.****ssportinggoods.com/p...12453824&cp=4406646.4413986.12598195.12598196 and you could do my whole workout (well an alternate, but just as effective).
Cardio especially I love that ****.
I tried working it back in. I have never been good at it. I have a goal to lose 40 pounds by June.

Good morning everyone

I'm a bit tired, drove down to my girls house last night, didn't get home until 6:30 this morning, but well worth it

@fattony69 You can do it, that's very possible. What's your plans in terms of dieting and working out?
Working out, I'm doing my own routine. I have stayed on the line of up and down by 5 pounds (nothing more or less) for 6 months and have up my bench from 155 to 225. My curling went from 50 to 110. My leg press went from 400 to 830. Triceps went from 40 to 100. Diet will be strict. Chicken and rice type deal. Vegetables and such.

Diets are always the main killer. If you don't have a good one, you won't lose weight. I'ma keep back in the gym in January. I have to save some money and go a lot harder than I did before. I've been learning some new things and its time to put those things into good use. I'm a fan of cardio, especially the Elipticial but I'ma try the stair master when I go back and just switch up my cardio routines. I had a trainer when I was younger but I don't need one anymore. Keep up the great work

We should keep track of our progress. The problem with diets is not being able to live with it. It is all about cutting and bulking come 2013. I keep reading /r/fitness, /r/weightroom, /r/bodybuilding, bodybuilding.com, and exrx.net. I am going on a strict routine soon. I never like cardio as my endurance sucks, but I did notice when I started, my sex life improved. I like the elliptical, but I like the bike too. I don't think the stairmaster really does much but to your calves more than anything. I like the bike, treadmill, and elliptical.
