Must be a pole in the restaurant... Wiggle next to/on the pole and tell them you want to learn pole dancing... It's a bit blunt... given

Remember most people love to talk about themselves, so just find a way get them going. I might start by asking where they're from or where their hometown is. Then, whether I've heard of it or not, I'd ask them some questions about that -- what it's known for, how big it is, if the person still visits there or has family there, what the weather's like this time of year.. this can lead to other topics like where they're currently based, where else they've lived, their family, etc. Act interested, say it's cool, ask more questions, even if you think it's boring.

I don't know much about truckers or trucking, but you could also ask where they're headed, whether they've been there before, what they like about where they're going... if they're wearing a hat or other clothes with a logo (I'm mostly thinking about sports teams here) you could ask them about that -- "You're a Redskins fan, huh? how have they been doing this year? Do you ever get a chance to go to a game?" Even if you don't care about sports, they do if they're wearing team logos, and if you can get them talking about themselves/their interests, that will make their interaction with you more positive.

wear a little makeup, keep reapplying your lip gloss, and unbutton the second button on your shirt. that can make you feel more flirtatious. A restaurant is a great place to learn to flirt :)

You don't know how right you may be on that one. I am really pathetic when it comes to guys. If one pays the least bit of attention to me, I am interested (as long as he's somewhere near my age and not married). It has just been a long time since any guy has been interested in me.
