I am someone who prefers to hide behind my keypad. I write better than I talk. That is why I am very good at script writing than acting.
I can portray all my thoughts in writing. People who read my writeups say they see all I write in their mind's eye.

Tell me to explain what I intend to write, I get scared. It may not be far from the truth that I stutter.
Do you prefer writing to talking, or vice versa?

I'm an introvert & I definitely prefer writing over talking. Oral words tend to get mixed up. I even write my husband notes. He had always asked me, Why can't you just say it? Because I can't lol Not clearly anyways. Certainly takes a lot longer to get my point across. Definitely harder when I get frustrated & then those words REALLY come out crazy.
For those who have a harder time with oral words, do your words get jumbled too? Not so much a stutter, just jumbled. Examples I would say: "Groundly fine" instead of "Finely ground" sea salt. Another example, this was years ago. I had asked our then dog what she was "Smiffing". Smelling/ Sniffing! That word stuck though & we still use it :)

I prefer writing to talking.
I can get my thoughts and feelings across better and I am more articulate when I write.
When I speak sometimes, the emotions and body language of my audience get in the way of my message.

I use English as a second language, I am comfortable communicating rather than speaking. As far as my native language is concerned, I can speak as well as write but I prefer to speak rather than write.

I'm very introverted so I prefer to write than to talk. This is why I prefer to text as well, rather than talk on the phone. The only person I talk to on the phone is my mother since she prefers that. I'm just better at writing, I can think about what I'm wanting to write and express how I feel without feeling rushed to say something.

I enjoy writing. I am always able to communicate effectively through writing instead of having to do most of the talking.

I have always been someone who has preferred to write over talk. When it comes to talking I get nervous, stutter, and even forget what I want to say which often leads me to panic and become anxious. I find that I can say what I want to more so in writing than talking and that is why I am more of a person who likes to text, email and use live chat over calls to people.

I prefer writing!! I don't speak well in person and I get very nervous when trying to think of things to say. Plus, part of my tongue is removed due to cancer so I'm very self-conscious about how I sound and how I form words. I am extremely careful to enunciate my words and I do a good enough job that most people can't notice. But I still prefer to write things down for communication.

I love to talk and write at the same time. For the sake of communication, I find out that I create a greater effect when I talk than when I write. I write great too. I prefer talking though.

I’d rather text. Don’t call me unless it’s something really important. I’m probably working on something and I dont want to be distracted by a phone call.
