Stick your head in the sand, huge Olympics news you don't want spoiled

Cookie, I know the answer is probably here somewhere but what do you do with the umm....bodies? :9:

I was just wondering about that...DH tosses them into backyard of empty house behind us. That yard is like a jungle

These work well! :snicker: And if you 'weld' them in the open position, and lay and stake them in your parkway or front yard, people tend to NOT let their dog pee or poo there.!

yep, that's what I do too..... i use the little plank they walk up to the bucket on to "scoop" them outta the water and wingggggggggggggg them into the forest

Circle of Life Circle of Life :bliss:

So you mean like now every time you see :bliss: guy, you're gonna think of dead chipmunks ?!?!? :bee:

That's unfortunate, Joan

BTW, she would leave brainless chipmunks all over the front walk. She was such a picky eater.

They reproduce like rabbits.

Yeah, but there's a difference: Rabbits are widely kept as pets in this country. Chipmunks, notsomuch.

OMG, are those legal out there?

They've been banned here for years because of the cruelty & suffering involved for those caught in the jaws, not a quick or painless death.

glue traps are still legal, used by many corporations... and nearly as cruel because it takes so long for an animal to die in them. Bucket of death is not nearly as bad if you have a dirty job to do!

Not a fan of glue traps either. Bucket of death doesn't bother me.

Steel traps were banned here, mainly because of the horror stories involving animals, both wild and domesticated, larger than those caught with glue traps.
