Jewel will be doing a drive collecting for the troops this weekend. They are looking for some items that MAY be in your stockpile....such as lip balm (nivea or chapstick anyone???) , batteries, beef jerky, and many others.

I will post the whole list if anyone is interested.
 
Yes Barb. If you could post a few more items that would be needed, it would be great. I do have all the items you listed already. You stated this weekend .......... so I presume that is both Sat. & Sun.??? Time?? and any Jewel location??
 
Walgreens has boxes of toothbrush/toothpaste kits for $1.00 to donate to the troops, too. Kind of a priceier filler in terms of fillers, but a good cause.

Tuna
Cold drink mix to put in bottled water
Beef Jerky
Canned fruit (20 oz or less)
AA batteries
Ziploc bags (no slider bags, please)
Peanut butter (28 oz or less, plastic jars only)
Pain relievers
Lotion (18 oz or less)
Lipbalm (Chapstick, etc)
Mouthwash (250 ml or less)
Canned soup/pasta

**Please check the expiration dates on the items you donate!
 
The list Jewel gave me had tuna pouches on it...not cans.
