I am humbled by the amount of popular threads on the typical favorite US sports.

But I hereby request a soccer/football section, given the general census in the General Sports Discussion board is that of the beautiful game...

You may repeat the above bold statement if you agree - maybe the admins will hear our pleas.
 
This is at least the third thread I have seen asking for this and probably about the 100th post! The demand is there so please can we have a football/soccer section!

I really think it would be a great idea and would probably attract more people to the forum as soccer is so popular across the globe.

We really need it. You get so many threads about soccer and it just gets lost with all these General Sports type of threads.
 
I would love it if they had a dedicated section for it! It seems like every soccer thead ends up being the most popular in the general section. I formally sign said petition.

Come on mods - please add this section. And if you want a football/soccer section pelase post here so the owners/mods can see the demand :)
 
I just joined this forum, and I have seen a TON of threads about soccer in the general sports discussion. Not only would it help us but it would also help the site gain popularity by showing that the users discuss the most popular sport in the world.

Honestly, I think it's useless, most of the general sports discussions are about soccer and people seem to find what they're looking for. Why change that?

I'm against it. Shoot me.
 
I just think it would be better for the owners since people could see how busy the soccer section is and want to have one. But I guess the admins are nowhere to be found!
 
It could be a strategy. I'm just saying that the rest of us had no problem finding what we were looking for even though we were here for the first time.
 
Yeah...this could be true. But still I think if we keep getting more and more soccer threads there should be a separate section.
