so what are you thinking right now?

Interesting day today... Brother being a ****. This man hasn't worked anytime in the past decade. He is a perfectly healthy, capable, college educated 31 yr old man w/no kids, but for whatever reason can't get his **** together. Anyhoo, as luck would have it the fella he lives with(who pays ALL his bills & has enabled my brother since he was 18) had a friend who was going through a divorce & had a car she never drove. She subsequently GAVE my brother her car. Now more power to her, but trust me when I say this ****tard didn't need yet another handout. So now he has the audacity to text me asking me if I want to buy said car for 4K? I felt like telling him to sit on it & spin.

I also got a call from a friend asking me to help her w/her funky **** bf(he is also a good friend of mine, but the fella just ain't no good in relationships). I've only told this chic like 20 ****ing times, my friend needs some counseling and that the boy has issues. Does she listen? Nope. He's cheated on her numerous times and now that he's flying straight, he's just acting like an immature, insecure, neurotic ****. She wants me to talk to him. Ummm...no thanks. I've already filled my bs quota for the week.

Earlier this afternoon, I had some weird **** random texts from some fella I met over a year ago, but had not talked to since who felt the need to clear the air w/me in a roundabout way because my friend w/whom he had a falling out w/a week or so ago told him that I was right when I said I thought he was a ****. For whatever reason this stuck in his crawl & I guess he thought he could convince me otherwise. Instead he became fodder for both my friend & I who decided he is definitely a **** for life.

Lastly, I found out my neighbor who has been putting me off w/$$ I loaned her for over a month now w/story after story is a flat out liar and thief. She had been receiving rebates on my behalf as well. I checked one today and found out the check had been cashed weeks ago when she has been telling me this whole time that her mail has been on hold because she has out of town. First it was Gurnee, IL. Tonight she tells me Atlanta, GA. She gave me another sob story & tried to convince of all of her woes. Sorry babe. I'm over it. Told her I was deleting her # & don't call me ever again.

Moral of the story for me today - Avoid stupid men & if you're going to lie to me tell me a good one. Please don't pull me into your stupidity.

Very happy for you, your DH must be under a lot of stress with his dad being sick in another state and the house sale. Hoping it all goes smooth and quick for you both.

Question, what are you both going to do about jobs?

Dh will continue to run his business from home, as he does now.
 
Just got back to work from lunch and this place smells like sauer kraut! Not sure if it's actually caused by sauer kraut but that's the closest I can come to identify the stank. Yes, it's better than the stank of fish stew but still stanky.
 
Pressure washed front of house and front porch. Cleaned windows on front porch. Now to remove some furniture so the rooms look bigger!
 
Figures.....just about to storm when the showings are at 6:00. I better not find any muddy foot prints on my new carpeting! :snicker:
