This is beyond insane, the National Weather Service just released an update :gah:

ACCUMULATIONS...STORM TOTAL SNOW ACCUMULATION OF 12 TO 24 INCHES...HIGHEST FROM MIDDLESEX COUNTY MA SOUTHWESTWARD TO TOLLAND COUNTY CT AND OVER NORFOLK COUNTY MA.

My first Winter in the house by myself and it just never stopped snowing. That bag of garbage went out right after Christmas & it was buried under mounds of snow until probably this time of the year or later.
 
ennui - I love the new addition to your signature & couldn't agree more!

Left work a bit early today since I didn't go home for lunch. Took about a half hour to shovel my way in the house. :surrender: Stuff is melting like crazy and now it's a heavy wet snow. Just did enough to get my car on the driveway and a path on the steps. The rest of it can melt itself away.

The sun was out while I was shoveling and it wasn't cold at all. Hopefully the promised 50 temps will actually happen this weekend.
 
Was still snowing here as the sun set. I think it finally stopped, but I don't want to look because I'll lose what's left of my mind if it's still snowing. :gah:


There's a giant snow wall out there between my car & the street, not looking forward to dealing with it tomorrow.
