What substance are you using... the majority of athletes are completely free of drugs of any sort.
As for data... JEEEEBUS. You are on crack or something.
No disrespect, this is not a call out or an attempt at trolling you, but something is very wrong with your logic.
Jane a friend of mine is now permanently affected with a deep voice, hardened veins in her legs and has had multiple operations for various organ problems. This from long term abuse of roids.
Danny another friend of mine has now severe water retention and will never be able to walk unaided (without a stick) because his joints around his knees started to wear away, direct cause hmmm - roids.
2 young lads that came to a certain academy had been tested and found to be taking Nandrolone Phenylpropionate - these are 14-year old kids who's father a doctor thought he could get away with it. F*cking stupid!!!
I'm sorry you have your opinion, but your opinion is very much flawed and is very much a highlight of why we have people who wish to cheat themselves and within competition.
I have had many years of experience within sports science - your denial of the effects of steroids is dangerous. Personally I would never let you anywhere near any gym or sports facility that I am affiliated to let alone a competitive club.
Are you serious with 'most athletes are drug free'? Drug testing can easily be passed. There are hundreds of way, be it taking it in the offseason and coming off before the test, be it using drugs that aren't even tested yet, or masking substances.
Here you have a short video on drug testing..

First of all, I was clearly talking about healthy adult males, not women.
Second of all, we're talking about steroid use, not abuse. There is a difference. Abusing water has killed people. Abusing anything can kill you.
Next thing.. Knee joints wearing out? That might be due to putting too much stress on them, too much running/being too heavy, there are many factors that have a big impact, but you're so sure it was steroids. Correlation does not mean causation.
2 young lads? I don't think being 14 and still growing up, developing, is a healthy adult male.
See, the problem with anecdotal evidence is that it's unrieliable. You just found someone who takes steroids and has a problem, and quickly assume it's steroids. Guess what, you have milions of other factors that can affect your health, be it poor lifestyle, smoking, drinking etc.
You still haven't posted a single piece of scientific evidence to prove me wrong. Still waiting.
PS. I know hundreds of people who take steroids in right dosages and are fine. That still isn't reliable evidence.
