Just saw on NBC warning parents that kids are now eating hard candy made of marijuana as a way to get high and get it past mom and dad (and authorities).

no smoking, no smell, etc...

OK, that is depressing as hell. :pout:

They can pass pot candy around between them....with parents right there.

:sob:

Where can I find this candy? Ya know...............to know where to not let my kids go. :hides:

Just the WORD candy makes me think appealing to kids....middle schoolers etc. that might have been afraid to smoke but to whom candy would appeal.

Pot brownies means someone was bold enough to get some actual pot and make them. Harder for the middle schoolers than passing candy around.

AND candy would be easier to sell them too. (IMO)

For parents....yes, it probably is a terrible thing to have ONE MORE way for these things to slip into our childrens lives.

And important to know it is going on to be watchful for the safety of our kids.

Thanks Barb, this is one more thing for me to be aware of not only for my child but also in my line of work....peeps are often high and drunk when I am working with them...should be interesting to see if this also becomes popular with young adults.

who remembers candy cigarettes? I remember them from when I was a really young kid.

I guess they aren't banned like I thought they were:

I used to stop at the little drugstore in town every Wednesday after school on my way to CCD for a pack of candy cigarettes. :giggles: Nothing like stopping for smokes on your way to religious ed.
