They have 50 percent off many of their clearance items

I found ladder ball game--marked down to 97 cents---(yes got half off that)

Baseball helmet----marked down to 5.00 (Paid 2.50)

Ladder ball balls---97 cents

I did not have a lot of time to search the store for other items-the sales person said they are marking down lots of items

I work there and we just marked down a ton more apparel that's 50 percent off the clearance price today, a lot of bears stuff, winter hats including north face, and other stuff. Plus 2/2 all the heavy coats including north face go even cheaper. The north face are currently 25 percent off and other winter coats 40 percent off. There's a big push to liquidate the clearance. If you find anything ending in .93, almost all of it is 75 percent off. Have someone price check it.
 
I was there last week exchanging shoes for DD and a lady at the next register had some rain boots. She was super excited they were only $6. IDK the brand but she mentioned it...something that starts with a B?
 
I popped over to Sports Authority (at Stratford there are 2--one by Kmart and one by Target) they too had TONS of stuff on clearance
My son worked retail--he said now is the time to buy--everything is on sale and bargains are to be found
 
So before I run out, is the red clearance tags additional 50% off or just what the red tag says?? I understand about the 93 at 75%, but what about the ones that end in say 97. Thanks.

Shoes and clothes are 50 percent off the .97. For some reason the bears stuff wasn't coming off correctly, but it is definitely half off the clearance price. Any clothing is an extra half off .97, but with hard goods its hit or miss. Have them price check it. Same with the .93. Hth

Ok, had a couple tshirts--one was 9.97 and the other was 14.97. Cashier said no additional percent off and they rang up as marked. I was bummed. I was hoping to pick up for my son for his birthday. :(
 
I think I would ask them and show them the sign. For me, there were signs everywhere saying clearance take an additional off the lowest ticketed price. Sounds like maybe someone didn't program it into the computer. Hopefully if you showed them the signs--they would adjust it.
 
Went to the Oswego ****'s two days ago and they did have signs up w/ 50 percent off lowest price but nothing was that cheap. I got my son a really nice pair of soccer cleats for $14.00 + tax but that was it.

I don't get what's going on. Everything apparel wise is supposed to be half off clearance .97. The licensed apparel isn't coming up with the extra half off as of Tuesday. The extra half off isn't supposed to end until 2/2. There are several great deals for bears accessories. A string bag with the big C logo and a bears head is 75 percent off, so 2.49, youth bears scarf is $1.49, adult scarf is 2.49. Find some women's Polar heart monitor watches that are super cheap. Some originally $110 marked down to $20. Still hunting around and I'll check on the prices again tomorrow when I go in st noon. Pretty annoying this is acting up like this!
 
I went to schuamburg ****s and they had some items with .93 and they sd they are no longer 75% off and they would not budge even tried to talk to a manager and it was no go sd sale ended already the price is what it rings up for. SO Bummed
 
I have been doing really well at ****s,I got Burton snowboard boots for 12.48 reg 199.00,thanks to 75 off,and Burton snowboard set for my kids 74 reg 299.
 
This is just the craziest sale ever !! Today, I went to the store figuring I would just pay the $14.97 and get my son the shirt for his birthday. Went the other night but was told the licensed stuff was NOT additional 50% off. So, get to the store tonight and find additional 50% off signs up that say INCLUDING licensed clothes ( dated 2/1-2/2). MAKE UP YOUR MIND !! :)
Don't get me wrong, I am certainly not complaining. I got the shirt for $7.48.
AND there were signs up stating additional 75% off on items ending in 93. I picked up a Chicago White Sox Rubik's cube for less than $2.00 and a White Sox puzzle for about the same price. Also, picked up a Chicago Fire scarf for $3.xx. Going to donate these to my church auction--going to make up a large sports basket with the other stuff we have.

Did they price check the stuff? What was it specifically? Everything .93 should be coming up an extra 75 off. They can be so ridiculous with pricing! They do go back and forth all the time. There is also a $25 "bounce back" coupon that prints out like a receipt in a purchase $100 or more right now. Pretty sure it's after coupons. The cashiers have a bar code they have to scan during the transaction so you get the $25 coupon. That goes through at least tomorrow. As for the save an extra 50 percent off, what's the exact wording on the coupon? I know those were going out, but unfortunately our new store manger doesn't communicate anything to myself or the other managers. Hopefully I'll have a better idea of the clearance plan for Sunday tomorrow. Whether its staying the same, going down further, or stopping!
 
Yes Andrea, that is the ONLY part of the sale that has stayed consistent--the items in .93 are additional 75% off. :girl:

One store I went to, it was clearly marked and the other store had NO signs at all but it still rang up additional 75% off at the register.
 
Went to bloomingdale today and was disappointed... No signs and no was was willing to help! :(. Does anyone know if this sale is still going on?

I will check tomorrow. I was off today. Didn't see any communication about it stopping though.
