I'm positive I'm not the only person having an issue with receiving and unwarranted amount of emails from Peak Forums. Honestly, it makes me not want to come back. If there's an actual update on the forum, I suggest including it in a monthly newsletter and send that out ONE time per month. The Warning that you sent out today was fine, however, instead of sending out two different emails one should have been sent. I find it extremely annoying to get a ton of emails from a forum. I've received six emails since the beginning of November. Please lay off of them.
However, I know e-mail got sent more frequently recently due to the problems that occurred. Granted one of the e-mails that reached out to members about coming back or whatever could have probably waited.
Also I do understand your frustration but you also have the option to go under http://peakforums.net/usercp.php?action=options and uncheck the box that says Receive emails from the Administrators.
I'm sorry that you feel that way. I will take your thoughts on board. We have been increasing the frequency of emails recently to try and get more activity especially have existing members to return to the forum. Today's email was sent twice because after the first, one particular member panicked after misunderstanding so I had to make sure everyone else did not think the same and had to clarify that.
