Some of the most daft people in the world live in the house next to mine. There are many examples of this, but the one that gets me the most is their obsession with the leaf blower. I personally find leaf blowers a huge waste of time and resources, and that a rake will do a far better job in less time. Except a rake will give you blisters. So you have to wear gloves.
Anyways, back to my daft neighbors. They use the leaf blower constantly year round. Not that big of a deal except they use it at all hours of the day except when people normally do their freaking yard work. Like, during the day! Many times at 5:30 a.m., the husband will leaf blow the driveway before leaving for work. and this past week, there has not been one day in which they did not use the leaf blower.
But the best was one day, the husband was up on the roof using the leaf blower to clean off all the dirt and leaves (this was also like beginning of summer, so wtf was up there?), and he is blowing it off the edge to the driveway. The wife is standing in the driveway looking up right where he is blowing all the dirt. Whadda moron!

:rotflmao:

you seem to be a good sport about it, at least!

i've had weird neighbors too.. the guy who used to live next door to me would mow his yard once, then go back mowing in a perpendicular direction so it would look nice...

i do find them highly annoying. but tolerable. it's my mom's complaining about them that gets me more than anything. but it also isn't my bedroom window he his leaf blowing by at 5:30 in the morning.

the thing i hate the most about these people, not as amusing as the leaf blowing but truely dispicable...
ok, a little background...
when i was younger there was this super nice older couple, the deutsches, that lived in this house. mr deutsche was totally sweet and his big love was roses. he planted all these beautiful rose gardens around the house (and some other flowers as well) and took care of them as if they were his children. when he died in, umm, 86 i think (i was in 4th grade) his widow moved out but his son and his new family moved in. and they had two great kids blah blah blah. the son took over babying the rose gardens. then 2 years ago the decided to move out to the boonies, out where mrs. deutsch moved to. and these trashy people moved on in. they were just so impressed with the rose gardens when they bought the house. but they spend all their time leaf blowing and neglecting the rose gardens. they are all overrun with weeds. and worse yet, instead of taking roses from her gardens (there are still blooms although the garden looks ugly), these ****s always cut from my two bushes that mr deutsch planted for me shortly before he died. and these are little weakling bushes that no one really expected to survive but they are still there. they hardly ever produce flowers, and those *******s always take them! i've never caught them, but my mom has more than once... oh, this reminds me of another story! my mom heard the neighbor lady doing something near the rose bushes. as soon as my mom got out there, the lady stopped what she was doing and started picking mosquitos out of the spiders webs... "I'm saving their lives!" :rofl2:

Tell them the next time you catch them on your property, you're calling the police on tresspassing charges. Oooh! Or, for disturbing the peace! ::smiles sweetly::

oh, i would LOVE to call the cops on them. but mom is strictly against it. even though they have called the cops on US because the dogs were outside barking on a saturday afternoon. can you believe these people! my mom's way of getting back is mowing the lawn early and stuff. i like to blast the most offensive music i can find when i know they are outside.

geez, i was about to wonder why this was in "rants" when you were just telling funny stories, but now they seem like really bad neighbors, the kind that would **** even me off (not easy).

how jerky of them. my mind is spinning, trying to find ways to get revenge. i'll keep you posted.

These people are awful. On the few occasions I've been over there since these idiots moved in, I think I've heard more foul language coming from them than one would expect in the Marines boot camp.

Plus they're always calling their stupid cat. Now, I love cats, but cats aren't dogs. If you need the cat to be around when you want it, you don't let it outside. It's that simple. Even then the cat is most likely to sit under the couch and avoid you when you're that much of a moron.

Oh, and Smiss, you forgot to tell the story about the fence. These people's neighbors behind them got so fed up with them that they built a fence. So the morons trimmed their pine trees from the bottom, to where the top of the fence is.

I got a neighbor that also likes to use his leaf blower. He always seems to use it during the times I really need peace and quiet. It's not his fault and I respect his desire to have a neat front yard but everyday...? I know the leaves fall and clutter up yards, but at least do that every now and then cause the leaves are just going to keep falling untill there aren't any left on the trees around him. I personaly don't want to complain since he is a nice guy...but the car that's been sitting in front of my house for about 1 1/2 months from my other neighber...I just might complain about that. He's got plenty of room in front of his house, why use my space? Bah, that's another story I may tell in a different rant though.

Good luck with your neighers. They sound like a real headache.
