Need a cute puppy name!!

Omg. She is really cute. I'm a cat person, but that is ONE CUTE DOG. Even I wouldn't be able to resist. Way cuter than my basset hound. Probably smells better, too. :giggles:

Her pic made my 14yo man squeal like a girl and clap his hands! ROFL

that is like way more cute than sanity (or manhood) can handle!!!

That is a PRECIOUS dog and I am not usually a fan of smaller breed dogs but so ADORABLE! Our childhood dogs were Tuffer, lady, Sam, and chocolate.

We have a Yorkie-Schnauzer mix, and she does some barking. Pretty much at the doorbell, anyone she sees out the window, and if you get too near her treat jar. She's 11 now and her newest annoying trait is whining a lot. But overall she's been a good girl. We got her as a rescue when she was 3.

I agree. I'm definitely a "big dog" fan but I do have to admit, some of the small ones are really cute.

How's it going with your new family member? What name did you choose?

Update!

We picked up the puppy on Friday evening. She is so little and cute! We met the mom and dad dogs and they were friendly and well-behaved. We never heard a bark! We are hoping that is a good sign.

DD10 was sure she loved the name Gracie and so that is what we picked! She looks like a Gracie. The boys are not happy at all with the name but since the dog is for DD, she won.

The puppies were raised in an upper floor apartment in the city. They were puppy pad trained and probably never went outside. The poor thing had no idea why we kept bring her out into the freezing cold!! But already she pees out there! Now to get her to do her poops there too.

I got up at 1:30 to let her out and then got up at 4:30 to feed her and let her out. Her schedule is off because she wants to play at night and sleep during the day. We are crate training her and she loves her crate but not at night with the door closed.

She doesn't eat a lot and sort of "licks" the food. She goes to the vet tomorrow.

:)

thanks for all the names! DH loved Steve's suggestion of Schittzee! He says it is the best name he has heard. DD said, "But Dad, that has a swear!"
