My friend asked me to share--that if anyone knows anything--please all the Elgin police--they have a way where it can not be traced back to you--and would appreciate all help in the investigation of this murder,
My friend said her sister was stabbed to death-and just left there to die--
she says the family would like information so they can get some peace to this horrific event.
Please keep my friend Michelle in your prayers as she is having a very hard time with this,
 
OMG! Can you give a better idea of where exactly? Is there any kind of lead at all?

Homicide of woman probed

ELGIN — An autopsy was set for Sunday to determine the cause of death of a 33-year-old woman whose body was found inside her west-side townhome early Saturday.

Police are considering the death of Lisa E. Koziol-Ellis a homicide.

No suspects were in custody, police Cmdr. Glenn Theriault said Sunday.

“At this point, we do not know who killed her,” he said. “We will investigate every angle possible until we find the murderer.”

Police were called to her home at 1 Garden Crescent Court at 2:30 a.m. on a report of an injured woman there. She was deceased when officers arrived.

Police are asking anyone who may have knowledge of the crime, or who saw suspicious behavior, to call police — either through dialing 911 or through the city’s anonymous texting system.

Residents may send an anonymous tip by texting 847411 and including ELGINPD in the beginning of the text, along with the message and/or tip information. The Elgin Police Department uses tip411, an Internet-based tool that enables the public to text an anonymous tip to the police.

“This process is 100 percent anonymous; the technology removes all identifying information,” Theriault said
 
Prayers for your friend's family. I hope they find who did it so she can have some closure to mourn the passing of her sister properly.
 
Yes, the articles that were posted is her sister. I have met the sister on several accounts--it is a typical don't judge the book by the cover. She has tatoos all over her, noise pierced etc---so at first glance people might think stay away--However, she was kind, caring, loving---she always treated me with respect--she loved her nephews (my sons bff) from what Michelle has told me she use to work at Marklund Childrens Home-and was well respected--she loved helping people and making people smile.
All Michelle told me was that her sister was stabbed and left to die--her brother in law came home from work and found her---She didn't get into a lot of details--because they don't know much--and her heart was breaking. She was tired and just frustrated as to why anyone would do this to her sister.
