Mom is scheduled for triple bypass surgery Dec. 10th.

Back at the hospital again...brought some more useless electronics but at least this one works as long as it's plugged into a wall outlet! :-) Mom didn't sleep at all last night...they woke her up every hour and then made her get up this a.m. around 5:30 and walk up and down the hallway...she is exhausted! But looking a lot better...dad is catching a cold now. He said he slept well last night though regardless...just really hope the two of them get out of the denial they're in regarding their dietary habits. I could NOT believe the lies my dad was telling the dr. about how they don't eat that unhealthy and whatnot...I called him on it in front of the dr. and dad was like you are wrong,that is not true..blah, blah, blah...I was like dude, you all better change or else mom and he are both gonna end up here. Mom for the 2nd time and him for the first time! DENIAL is more than just a river in Egypt....:-)
 
LOL my MIL lies all the time about what she eats--when she was on this hospital diet for 1.5 years she did so well and was so honest--she met her goal s and then plummeted downhill since she wasn't writing everything down that she ate
 
Mom is getting a little loopy due to not sleeping...they are waking her up every hour to test her blood sugar...she is quite emotional due to lack of sleep. This DOES NOT bother ME but dad got pissed at her today...I was like dad you need to be more understanding as this is incredibly difficult for her...he was like she is too clingy blah blah....I told him he really needs to be more understanding...he was really a pain in the **** today...hope his attitude improves as she needs his support....I feel for her as I know how hard it is when you don't sleep properly. I am exhausted...I was there most of the day...considering going back tomorrow even though I have to work...it is still a good hour from here...I'll see how I sleep tonight.
