My wife and I are looking to go to Ljubljana this time next year's for 3 or 4 nights. Drive to Luton or Gatwick for a direct flight. Ljubljana itself looks beautiful and we plan to go to Lake Bled. Vintgar Gorge looks stunning too. Any Bluemooners been and have any tips or advice?

My wife & I went to Lake Bled 15 years ago. Been a couple of times, a lovely place. Theres a great town out west called, with nearby Most na Soci. On the confluence of the Soci and Tolminka rivers, in the Alps, lots of canyoning/rafting/cycling etc to do in beautiful scenery. Very hot in summer though, frequently hits 30 degrees in the day and they do get some pretty intense electrical storms.
