Do you live on a working farm or have you in the past? I have never lived on a farm myself but I do have a friend that lives on a working farm. It's a lot of hard work to ensure that all the animals are kept in good health and the farm is profitable.

However, I can't help think that it's a lot of effort and doesn't always bring in a lot of money from what you produce. I also think it's mentally tough to ensure all the animals are happy and that everything is kept safe and secure. Not to mention that farms also smell too. I don't think I could ever live on one properly!

I haven't lived on a farm, but my family had a small livestock farm and also a land where we grow some food like maize, vegetable, yam tubers and various other food that could enter the land.

Living on a farm would be an absolute dream for me. I love being outside and hate sitting still so the long hours and hard work would be enjoyable for me. I don't think I would have a livestock farm though as I would want to keep all the animals as pets rather than selling for food.

Even though I have spent most of my life in a city, I have lived on a farm on and off. I have a small farm about 250 miles away from the city where I am living at the moment. On the farm, we have some cattles. We also grow vegetables, fruits, and grains. In fact 50 percent of our food is sourced form our farm

My dad raised a few animals and had a big vegetable garden that spanned two fields at one time. Nonetheless, it was all a hobby. Now, I do have a cousin nearby with a working farm, but I haven't inspected it.

In as much as I am someone that likes having a garden and farming, I have not had that time to stay in a farm for more than a day. I can't even subscribe to such idea in my head.

I grew up on acreage with farms all around although we didn't have a farm ourselves. We had chickens & pigs when I was younger. We also had a huge garden.
The hours & work is quite ruthless. You don't get vacations; you need to be on call 24/7 in case something happens. However, I have the utmost respect for those who work on farms. We try to support our local organic ones here as much as we can.

I was raised in a little farm, then I lived in the city, almost 2 years ago I had the chance to get me a piece of land of 20 acres and I moved in a year ago. For me, is the best life you can get. I don't plan to go back to the city. :) I do really enjoy this life.

I have never had the opportunity to live on a farm, but the idea of immersing myself in that lifestyle appeals to me. I can see myself tending to farm animals and growing a variety of produce. However, to make this goal a reality, I need money. In addition, I appreciate the need for a reliable partner to help me set up and track the farm's operations, especially if I plan to expand in the future.

I presently live in a premises that houses my poultry farm. I have to say that you would have to maintain the farm very well to be able to live in such a premises. It is a fun experience though having to tend to animals almost all your time.
