Lakers are in a slump...

I think it all started once they decided to hire Brown. Terrible, terrible mistake that was. Sure the defense would be improved, but the Lakers need the Triangle offense more than anything in the world right now. Didn't help that Stern decided to block the Paul trade.

Kobe is off his game cause he cheated on his wife. With that said I see there is a reunion happening. Watch I see a winning streak on the horizon.

Well, first off they shouldn't have got rid of Odom. That was mistake number 1. Mistake number 2 is the fact they keep floating the idea of trading Gasol around. I mean seriously, how do they think he feels with that? How can they really expect him to play hard with that hanging over his head?

I'd say screw them and have team only meetings too

I don't know... The Lakers have been dominating for the past few years. I wouldnt' be surprised if this was just temporary. They'll come back on top before you know it :)

The Lakers are going down. Kobe is old and ballhog. They need a coach like the zen master who can really be a leader. Jerry Sloan is a good fit for Lakers. :)

I think that Phil Jackson is the only coach in the world who was able to control Ron Artest. (I refuse to call him Metta World Peace.) It's crazy seeing this guy do all sorts of dumb plays on the court. You have to wonder what in the hell is going on in his mind.

Who knows, it might not even be a slump. People might just have to come to terms with the fact that Kobe Bryant is starting to show some of his age.

Totally agree with this one, hit right on the dot.

Yea sadly the Lakers are in a bit of a slump right now but I think it will end soon. They are a good team none the less and I don't think a few losses will slow them down much.

No surprise, they're just not that good. The production they get from PG and SF is just dreadful, they have to massively upgrade those spots if they actually want to contend.

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing. Thats why they were trying to get C.Paul for Gasol. You never know though, another "Lin" might come off of the Laker bench and surprise us all. ;)

Unfortunately Lakers have had pretty dreadful drafts lately because they haven't had any first rounders. Their last notable pick was Toney Douglas, who was traded to NY on draft day. Lakers really need to make moves without giving up first rounders, or else they're just stacking the team with more and more washed up veterans whose productions mysteriously dip when they get to LA. This upcoming draft is chock full of talent, hopefully LA can take advantage of it.

So far the top rumors for Laker trades are for Beasley and Sessions. Please make it happen! It would make the starting 5 actually legit.
